It's hair soap who cares what color your hair is
@Nudity Industries, her mother seems to be dropping hints.
@Nudity Industries, A lot of women's shampoos are specially formulated to make certain hairtypes look better. So, yeah it'll still clean your hair, but it might leave it with a weird texture or dry it out.
@Nudity Industries, Hair...soap..? I..I've never thought of it that way before...
@KermitSmash, I have lighter brown/very dark blonde hair and I once got shampoo for very dark/black hair. My hair was clean, but it felt much heavier and kinda greasy when it was all dried. Lady shampoos are weird.
@OneHellOfAButler, Yeah I think shampoos for dark hair have certain oils in them that look good on dark brown/black hair. People with light hair probably want to go for a fluffier or brighter look.
@Nudity Industries, it actually can make a big difference. Blonde hair shampoo can contain dye to take away the brassiness of the hair color and tends to be more drying to avoid an oily look.
Someone please explain why is it such a big deal
@Gas Chamber, first world problems, that's all it is.
@Gas Chamber, well from a girl with really long and thick hair's perspective, conditioner is pretty important cause with out it your hair is super dry and gets matted and tangled constantly. It's still a first world problem, but I understand it's importance.
@Gas Chamber, I have dyed red hair and some shampoos are for colored hair to enhance the color. So I have shampoo with red dye in it for my hair. Blonde shampoos tend to have purple colors in them because it enhances the blonde color. And the same goes with shampoos for darker hair
Who the fvck buys 10 bottles of shampoo at once lmao
@The Gay Gatsby, My sister purchased like 36 bottles of shampoo+conditioner (each) at once like a year and a half ago and we're still not out. When you can get it for like 50 cents I suppose there's not much reason not to lol.
@The Gay Gatsby, I once found Irish Spring soap in a free pile (my town has lots of free piles. You can find ladders, ramen, golf clubs, Calvin and Hobbes books, etc) and I'm still going through the pile.
It's been 3 years and I've only been using Irish Spring.
@moodizz, I think I've seen your sister in a maths book.
@ArchonErikr, I wouldn't be surprised. We also have like eighty rolls of paper towels and 20-ish sticks of deodorant. Basically the living incarnation of that dude with 18 oranges at a farmers market in math problems.
Great now I have a ragingbomer
* For anyone who doesn't understand* shampoo strips your hair of the natural oils it needs to be healthy, shiny, and tangle free. Conditioner replaces the lost oils and moisturizes your scalp. Some serve many more purposes than just that like a toner that is purple for blondes, a filler for thin and split ends, color protect, thermal protect, curly hair, ect. Proof: Am Cosmetologist
I literally wash my hair with dish soap
Sand dune blonde? Who the fvck comes up with these colors? Is there a sh!t brown or a period blood red?
If my kids walls looked like yours, I wouldn't buy then shjt.
