Legend of Korra vs. Avatar the Last Airbender.
@Ragtacoman, you da real MVP
How is this even a thing? We all know which was better.
@L1ttl3T93, yeah the original
@very aussie bloke , no
@very aussie bloke , I like lok better but what do I know
@Sir Bionic, im planning a flame war muhahaha
@L1ttl3T93, the movie. Kidding, there was no movie.
L1ttl3T93, defining how to start an Internet debate.
@very aussie bloke , but everything changed when the aussie's attacked
@Sir Bionic,the dingos and the prawns on the barbie fought hard but the cans of fosters and crocodile dundees fought well and managed to emerge victorius from the smoking pile of rusty corrigated iron roofing and holdens
@The Moon Spirit, you have been summoned to Lake Logai.
@Sir Bionic, I'm actually with you (there are dozens of us!). But really, they're both amazing shows, and I would argue that AtLA is better but I personally like LoK better because when I watched it for the first time, I was old and smart enough to appreciate it. Whereas with AtLA, I can never watch it for the first time as an adult (god I wish I could though). When I was a kid, it was just a cool show. I still rewatch it from time to time. But I always know what's going to happen.
@DankButt, the cgi was very noticeable when it was used, the story was not developed in such detail, it did not have enough character development and the ending was a guess all lesbian romance ordeal. Not that we shouldnt support being who you are and have inspiring stories for each group or cliche of people or whatever it is called but there is a certain finesse needed for this to be done well. They did great job and all but it just idk man and i know everyone is a critic but it lacked a certain tone. Last of us was gorgeous about it though. That is my measure that I use.
@The Moon Spirit, damn straight there's no movie.
@Blackfrost273, The original wasn't better.
@very aussie bloke , They're equally good for different reasons.
@DankButt, zap branagan: "nuetrals, at least with enemies you know where you stand"
@BearDaniels, The animation, dialogue, and story where better on LoK, comedy and character development was better on AtLA.
@BearDaniels, Hard to say, I watched the original when I was very young, I've seen a few episodes from time to time and I've a feeling it would kind of annoy me the slightest bit if I rewatched it.
@DankButt, which did you enjoy watching more?
@BearDaniels, neutral characthers were my least favorite when I played a lawful good paladin in dnd. Do I smite them... or save them. Are you going to be helpful, a hindrance, or just stand on the sidelines?!?! DAFUQ ARE YOU EVEN?!?! QUIT BEING SO INDECISIVE.
@DankButt, you havent even rewatched tloa and you still have the balls to say that the story wasnt as good as "whats korra gonna get screw up today"?
@MasterEmerald, I remember everything perfectly, I tried to rewatch the original and some of tge jokes an humor whas honestly cringe worthy. Then again, it was a lot less mature than LoK
@DankButt, the idea that you remember everything perfecfly is bollocks, sorry
@MasterEmerald, Of course I remember the story, I love that show.
@Phantom of the Porno, good to know. I was starting to doubt anyone else felt the same way after I've been getting downvoted just for sharing my opinion, thanks everyone.
@very aussie bloke , wish I had more upvotes for this
Can we just take a moment to appreciate how they just reinvented tug of war.
@th3thrilld3m0n, right??? I saw this and I'm like "I wanna do that!!"
I don't care which is better. Both are good and I don't want the series to die. Ever. Just don't remake the original.
Are the rules the same as tug of war? Just in a canoe?
@Colleen4, Pretty much.
LoK was a bit better for me. Not many shows can pull off having a relevant female protagonist for some reason. I thought the humor was a bit better as well.
Why not both?
Avatar the last airbender
Greetings, random section viewers.
Was that a joke?
"Cry havoc and let loose the dogs of war"
This looks fun and extremely tiring. I think I'll watch!
