I call it Autumn and I'm American.
@basrrf19, i call it both. Although it gets kind of confusing because my best friends name is Autumn...
@PhilosoCat, "I hate Autumn. Literally the absolute worst thing ever. If it never existed I'd be so much happi-... Oh hey Autumn! Wanna hangout? What? No, I don't hate you. Why would you ever think that?"
@PhilosoCat, I'm sorry but what the fvck are friends?
@PhilosoCat, I'm in the same situation, except my best friend's name is Fall.
@PhilosoCat, i have of people named autumn, summer and winter but never spring. What does people have against spring
@basrrf19, I call it Pre-winter
@basrrf19, Same here, I like Autumn better.

@PeanutButterPopsicle, well, I'm in the random section replying now but... i was born in November... so...
I call the bs card. No word came from French and later latin. Latin existed first. The entire french language came from latin.
@abecedarian, Except the words derived from Gaulish.
@abecedarian, Don't get me wrong here... But being french I can confirm that we say automne not autompne XD
@abecedarian, I'm glad I'm not the only one who saw this
Autumn works better because it's six letters like the other seasons.
@sponge bath sundays, I did not notice that, my mind is blown
@sponge bath sundays, you made me count. It's not often that I maths.
It's called fall because it stands for Freedom After London Left
Fall isn't of US origins. It can be traced to German, British, or Norse beginnings. So thanks, Old Europe, for providing the Americas with words.
Are people getting that desperate to make fun of Americans now? There's a lot more ways they can make fun of us that are at least a little bit more funny and true.
Sry I can't hear you Europe over the sound of our freedom
Nah, we call it fall because we took down all of those statues of communists and that wall in germany.
It's not "autompne " it's "automne".
Then what do you b!tches call spring, HUH!?
Fall came from Latin word autumnus meaning FALL of leaves. Just as spring is spring of leaves. It was shortened in the 16th century meaning fall was created before the 16th century aka before the US
I call it whatever I want because I am free to do so... first day hymblithery today
And you feel the need to insult us because you know we are better than you, so... Who cares?
I feel like that sentence would make better sense if an Asian were saying it. Not every American speaks like an Asian
Ha ha, Americans are dumb for some reason, I think.
