@General Zod, do you guys realize that when you plug it in it would shock or even electrocute you because it would be closing the circuit of energy and possibly produce a lot of voltage? This same thing applies if you were to plug a cord into one outlet on the wall and then plug it into the outlet above it on a standard two panel outlet.

@Hermonie Granger, actually it could possibly catch on fire, because there could still be some electrons moving (depending on how long it has been unplugged from a power source). This can also happen to extension cords.
