Showing that people who cut in line while driving are assholes
I go out of my way to box these types of people out, they will miss their turn or exit before they get in front of me.
@Captain Cockmonster, what if they screwed up and thought they were turning left, and are now trying to correct their mistake? Maybe you're the asshole here
@Waffles, nah, most people know exactly what they are doing, they are just trying to get up as far as they can because they are special snowflakes and better than everyone else.
@Captain Cockmonster, I've done this without meaning to multiple times before, I wasn't trying to "get ahead" I thought I was in the correct lane but nope. And no one let me over so I sat there waiting for 5 maybe 10 minutes blocking traffic. Just let them over its not like keeping them from getting into the correct lane will benefit you anyway.
@ChocoboPizzacat, it does benefit me because they get all mad about it. You clearly haven't been driving long and in crowded areas like DC, people generally know where they are going and are just trying to skip the lines. If you are in the wrong lane, just go straight, turn around and try again, I do that versus trying to cut into a line and holding up traffic.
@Captain Cockmonster, Well I was out of state and had no clue where I was going, I'm not going to go turn around 5 miles up and get lost again just because a asshole won't let me over.
@ChocoboPizzacat, then sit there for five to ten minutes, lol.
@Captain Cockmonster, I happily do, not like I'm the only one being stopped. Pretty sure I've caused a accident before too.
@Captain Cockmonster, As someone who lives in a semi rural area, I can't do that, I might not see civilization for 50-60 miles on a 2 lane road with No way to turn around. If I drive the wrong way I would miss my destination by hundreds of miles. I clean pools that I don't always know where they are, so it isn't like I am familiar with the area at all. I have also lived in Chicago, which is WAY more hectic than DC and they still let people over. Probably because it is more of a douchebag thing than an area thing.
@Kalam1ty, three point turns are easy in rural areas, there isn't much traffic to worry about. Comparing Chicago traffic to DC, that's cute. The real douchebags are the guys trying to get that one extra car length up.
@Captain Cockmonster, thanks for downvoting over provoking thought, guess we know what kind of person you are now
You're such a special snowflake
@Captain Cockmonster, 3 point turns are impossible where I live. Ohio is very hilly. In a van carrying thousands of dollars of very heavy equipment, I can only do turns on flat surfaces. Also your whole reasoning is nobody can get lost, or if they do, they deserve it? If I think I am supposed to turn left, but I check my map and it's a right turn, I am trying to get a car length up? You just assume they are doing it to cheat the system. "If some aren't doing what they are supposed to, I will just harass all of them."
@Kalam1ty, you said you are on two lane roads, so missing a turn should not be an issue. You are throwing all sorts of variables and anecdotes into the mix, I am saying that in most cases it is just a douche trying to cut the line.
@Waffles, I didn't know I was three people. Your thoughts were hardly provoking.
@Captain Cockmonster, But I am saying from that "douche's" perspective it is due to a wrong lane change or misread direction most, if not all the time.
@Kalam1ty, cool, and sometimes I let people in. But other times a wrong turn costs you time.
@Captain Cockmonster, This will never not be me.
Do it again and I'll introduce your a$$hole to a genius... Wait what
Must resist sharing extensive knowledge on traffic patterns...aaarrrrgh, this is actually beneficial for society as a whole. If everyone used the maximum amount of both lanes, then the congestion would in fact become more manageable because more available space would be used. If people change lanes early they waste all that space in front of them. That only works in a theoretical world because like the picture says, some people are assholes and don't let other people into their lanes. For more information refer to the book "Traffic".
@M0ssfire, that would make sense in a merge situation, but this is just a case of a douche trying to cut people out.
They put two lanes to lessen traffic and then take turns merging but tall so damn selfish can't let one person in front of you!
I know. Now let me in.
Apparently society hasn't seen the imitation game. Assholes can be geniuses too
May I murder the person who is the "genus"
@TheBronyYouHate, I'm not a grammar nazi, and I'm not going to troll or dog you about it. You misplace the n and the i when you corrected "genius"
@D0N RAM0N, That's the joke
@TheBronyYouHate, I know someone just like you. *looks at Your Grandmas Tits*
@TheBronyYouHate, ohh, I uhh totally see it know
@TheBronyYouHate, write that was the joke
