@fettman1138, agreed. The dude in the hospital bed probably lost brain function. Sleep safely my friends.
I got an electric one wheel skateboard a few days ago. Never skateboarded in my life (I’m 28)
Had a blast using it for a few hours until the nose dipped down and threw me forward at 14.1mph. Luckily my skull broke the fall and the pavement only shredded my back like sandpaper. It’s been 3 days and my back is still oozing puss. I wish I was a kid :’(
@VibratingButtChomper, in October last year I was riding my electric scooter to college, when I was crossing the street to get back on the sidewalk in front of someone's driveway. The part where the driveway met the street was higher than expected. So my front wheel stopped while I was going like 15 miles per hour and the handlebar went to the side taking my arm with it, so when I fell my face smashed into the cement and my ribs landed on my arm leaving my ribs with deep bruises. I had rib pain for a month but luckily I have some of Alex Jones BodEase turmeric pills which made breathing less painful. The gash on my chin made me worried about shaving the scab open repeatedly so I just grew a goatee instead I still have the goatee today. Oh also I will never be able to ride my scooter without being scared ever again.
Bouldering crash pads are very cushioned. It's very difficult to hurt yourself falling even from 25~30 feet up. I've certainly missed a hold and landed worse than this before.
@unknownjanitor, he also fell spread-eagle, which is the perfect way to distribute force across your body.
When embarrassment overcomes instant death.
