@TheCruzanator, Except that bō is not a brand. There are many different types and manufacturers. You could say I bought a foam bō, wooden bō, or be more specific and say rokushakubō. If I use your example I would say, "look I got a new pistol gun". It is still redundant.

Guys, I might get some hate for this but try not to be so hard on people like this. He's probably just a kid who had a bad upbringing and found comfort in a dream world where he can be important, and have control over his life. He's trying to find people who share his interests, we all deserve friends. Idk, have a nice day and what not.

Great to see a brother in the martial arts out there teaching the ancient ways. We are a dying breed. Keep up the good work. Also, the thing about guns is, they are great if you have it on you and are ready to use it but if it's a box or glove compartment it's not going to help you. A martial artist ALWAYS has his/her skills with them 24/7 ready to go.
