"And hakunah matata to you too sir."
Waiter: Sorry, I only serve tacos, not speak it
Spanish is not his first language.....the point is that he is a presidential nominee speaking Spanish. It is empowering.
@Thundergoose657, fûck that. It’s pandering. We are united by common culture, and language is a big part of that culture.
Quit trying to divide us, pandering àsshat politicians.
@Thundergoose657, that shjt didn’t fly in Texas where most people know what he’s saying. He couldn’t beat the zodiac killer with these tactics so maybe it’s not as good of an idea as you think.
@big freedom, I don’t think they’re dividing, I think they’re including. What is wrong with having a bilingual country? Canada and Switzerland do well speaking multiple languages. Also keep in mind no where in the Constitution does it say that English is an official language, which means any language is fair game in our politics if you know how to use it.
@TriangleTesticles, apparently you don’t know much about Canada and how Quebec keeps trying to succeed. Switzerland is a tiny country sitting between 3 countries. They speak several languages because they have to.
I never mentioned the constitution or official language. I don’t need the government to tell me what’s right and wrong. I know that pandering plays to the lowest common denominator and is a tool of the weak to influence the even weaker. You are correct, it is a “fair tool”.
@Thundergoose657, he didn’t even answer the question...
@Uranusisbig, well that’s progress!
@big freedom, we say that in Mexico too! Progress... When you are at the edge of the precipice, politicians help you take a step forward.
In the mexican resturant we work at, we have a dish called taco gringos. Its basically a hard shell served with ground beef, lettus, and cheese.
I can always spot the people who are going to order it before they do. It is exactly who you would think.
@3DAnimator, white people???
