@a dank dodo, *presses*
This is totally fake, but still funny.
Fox still sucks, though.
@I Are Lebo, the local channels ain't so bad
@Jim Carrey Acolyte, local to where?
@I Are Lebo, to wherever they're local to
@Jim Carrey Acolyte, then how do you know they’re good?
@I Are Lebo, cus local news stations are just kind of cute. They only care about their communities. Not selling for big government.
@Jim Carrey Acolyte, this is a sweeping and general statement about something you clearly do not know about.
@I Are Lebo, saying that fox as a whole is bad is making a sweeping and general statement; citation needed. See how retarded this argument gets?
@I Are Lebo, Most local fox stations aren't really affiliated with the national news organization and are normally opened by different companies entirely like Scripps or Sinclair.
@Self Stimulation, I’ll give you several citations. How about when Sean Hamburg lies on air about the death of Seth Rich and responded to his parents begging him to stop with “ill stop for now?”
How about Glenn Beck mocking both gun owners and shooting victims with his mocking remark “I went to the movies with a gun on me and surprise surprise, I didn’t kill anyone.”
Fox news is one of the most openly biased ‘news’ programs out there, with a minimum of integrity.
Fox has faced criticism for its obvious bias by both the Democrats and the Republicans. Howard Dean referred to Fox as “a right wing propaganda machine”, while David Frum stated “republicans originally thought Fox worked for us and now we realize we work for Fox”
They’re unprofessional, stopping to such lows as doctoring photos of people they wish to slander, making them appear uglier and more mockable. Examples of this include Jacques Steinberg and Steven Reddicliffe.
In addition, in April of this year, Fox settled
several lawsuits with numerous women over instances of sexual harassment, that were not only reported, by the women who accused Bill O’Reilly, Dean Cain, and Scott Brown, were demoted and then fired, not by the men they were accusing, but by the people they reported them to. The incidents in question took place between 2002 and 2016 ongoing, kept silent by Fox’s HR department.
Fox has made themselves unwelcome in the White House during the Obama administration because they comport themselves with all the ethics of a tabloid rag. If you don’t believe that, maybe you should look up the time they filmed and broadcasted a car chase perpetrator shoot himself in the head on national television.
Not every single thing that Fox has done or reported on is bad. But they are a biased news channel that doesn’t carry themselves professionally or morally. They are a crappy source for news or professional people.
There you go. Multiple citations, and all it took was a five minute google search.
@I Are Lebo, bro you're not paying attention. Local news stations have nothing to do with the national news stations. They don't report to Fox News, they don't get their information from Fox News. They have nothing to do with it. Get it? Apples and oranges. They are not the same. They share a name but family guy was aired by fox for the longest time. How do you feel about that? Understand yet?
@Jim Carrey Acolyte, I am not talking about small local channels owned by Fox, I am talking about Fox News. I completely understand what you are saying in your attempt to detail the conversation, but I am ignoring it because it is not relevant.
@I Are Lebo, what in 9 hells are you talking about then? You say I don't know what I'm talking about when I say local stations aren't bad, then you say they aren't bad, but go on a tirade about the national news team. We all fvcking get it. Yes ok? We all know national Fox News sucks dong. No one questions that. But Fox 23 is not Fox national news. The local stations are not Fox News. So what in the hell do you think I'm talking about?
@Jim Carrey Acolyte, oh wait, I get it. Your original comment was totally irrelevant to the picture. You just wanted to go off on Fox. 👌🏻gotcha. Next time do it on a picture that contains them.
@Jim Carrey Acolyte, does this not? Because then I was confused. My apologies.
@I Are Lebo, Fox 23 is local news for Tulsa Oklahoma. I googled that. I don't just know local news stations. Hehehe... I have a problem.
@Jim Carrey Acolyte, ah. Alright, then. While I stand by my statement about the National Fox News being shït, I recognize that that is irrelevant to this post and I have nothing either for or against the people of Tulsa Oklahoma.
@I Are Lebo, that's ok, im always down to talk shjt about the pig dogs over at Fox News national.
@Jim Carrey Acolyte, let it be known that on this day, on the first of December, of the year 2017, I, Lebo, was wrong about something. 🧐
@I Are Lebo, let it be known that this something was only the context for the discussion, the national Fox News anchor team is definitely comprised of lizard people
@I Are Lebo, Was that really all you had, that Fox is a biased news channel that doesn't carry themselves professionally? This is laughable bud. Fox is miles away from the bottom of the media sinkhole. To think that a news station with bias in 2017 is an anomaly, let us look no further than literally every other major media source. The tragic flaws that Fox has can be given merit, but using these alone as a means to solely target fox is silly. If it's sexual assault charges or moral impurities you're looking to avoid, I urge you to find one PUBLIC news station (large network actors) devoid of these and that seeks to avoid a narrative or propaganda they favor. If you want real news, find private media outlets from the left and right and read between them. As far as I'm concerned, Fox is doing a really, really damn good job of pissing off the left or anyone who claims to be holier-than-thou. It appears their bait was to your liking.
@Self Stimulation, rrrrriiiiight. I can’t criticize Fox for unprofessional bias because they’re not the worst ones? Okay, that sounds reasonable. 😐
I personally think CNN is nearly as bullshït as Fox, but as far as I’m aware they aren’t under numerous slander lawsuits and denouncements from both sides of the aisle.
Saying that it’s not merited to criticize Fox because rags like the Huffington Post exist is like saying I can’t criticize a shïtty restaurant because A&W or In-N-Out exists.
The only way you don’t see what a shït source for news Fox is would be if you don’t want to see it.
@I Are Lebo, why did I read all of that
@I Are Lebo, the democratic stations are just as bad, man. All the large stations are biased, and the ones that say they aren’t (cough CNN cough) are also biased. (Democratic)
@Child Slapper, I scoff every time I hear CNN say “the trusted name in news”.
Still, Fox is worse.
@I Are Lebo, fox is worse for you because they are not on your side.
CNN is worse to me because they are not on my side. It’s simple. I understand your opinion.
@Child Slapper, no, Fox is worse because they put out more fallacious stories than CNN. Neither station is on my side.
If I ever met Wolf Blitzer I’d tell him he’s a scumbag that profits by spreading fear and then I’d spit at his feet.
However CNN isn’t the studio that ignores or spins every shïtty thing that Trump says or does. Granted, CNN won’t shut the fück up about them.
CNN are fearmongers, but Fox are liars. For a news source, CNN is objectively better. Not by a lot, but still.
@Child Slapper, this attitude about sides has pervaded everything in American culture. It’s never about the issues anymore, it’s about who is raising the issue. I’m genuinely worried that the USA is going to see another civil war, and I think it’s going to happen relatively soon.
Or they got so tired of having that pulled on them they had an intern provide them the correct response.
