Anyone else realize that Zwei the Corgi is a reference to Ein the Corgi from Cowboy Bepop?
In German ein is the word for number 1, while zwei is the word for the number 2. This might have been super obvious to most but being an idiot who has seen both shows and speaks German, I missed it until just now.
Also if you haven’t seen Cowboy Bebop, watch it as soon as possible. It has an amazing English dub and is a compelling show by any standards, not just anime. Even if you don’t like anime, it’s worth the watch
@Cabbage Salesman, this was stated in the Season 2 (I think) commentary. Completely intentional on their part
@Cabbage Salesman, Top tier anime for sure. The episodic nature of the show and the fact that every episode is an homage to a different cinematic genre might throw some people off. But it’s a fantastic show that explores themes of loneliness and loss in really profound ways. Bebop that is.
“Please keep it away from my belongings.”
For anyone that's interested the RWBY Volume 5 soundtrack was released last week. It's killer. "I'm her daughter, after all" is particularly impressive
The art style is fire
@CrazyManInaBox, with Yang all art styles are fire
@nemestrinus , gotta HAND it to ya there
I would have cared bout this two years ago, but the show has just crashed like a rocket since then. Its shallowness has really become apparent.
Note this is my opinion and I respect those that differ in this
Look up Belladonna on PH. You won’t be disappointed.
Why is the dialog in comic sans?
