Oh baby, this looks like a fun one. Let's watch this play out.
@Lord Cthulhu, what did you call me?! I'm not your PET! How dare you call me "baby", you sexist pig!
Oh wait, I have a penis.. nvm, brochacho, fist bump it out 👊🏽
@Lord Cthulhu, Lord Cthulhu is amused
@The Colombian, I don't want to kill you or make you insane so I'm gonna pass on that fist bump
Why not take both? It's ignorant to think mass media doesn't have issues in the way body image(s) are portrayed. However, maintaining a healthy body takes effort and personal responsibility. They're not mutually exclusive.
@ A Sad Blow Job, incredibly valid. Just because the media floods us with images of perceived perfection doesn't mean that healthy bodies are vain ones. I work out 3 times a week minimum. I also eat junk food like a pro. 170 at 14% body fat. I'm toned, but not crazy cut, and I'm ok with that
@ Tobias Widower, i eat a lot. And i don't mean bad food, but just alot in total, but for some reason, i can't gain a pound. I'm at 125 with about 5% body fat. I'm glad i can't get fat, but i need to put on muscle. It's so hard.
@ A Sad Blow Job, THANK YOU. This is exactly what people on both sides of this issue don't seem to understand. Body shaming is bad, but that doesn't mean everyone shouldn't try to be healthy.
@ Tobias Widower, so I know a guy named Tobias and I just read this in his voice. Which kinda sounds like Morgan Freeman on helium...in my head anyway.
@Morty, you should try mass protein. You can get shredded but not necessarily bigger with not much body fat to work with. I used to be like 30lbs over weight and I lost it all and put on muscle. I feel great! But I know I can improve 😁
@Morty, that's actually a known disorder, your body only takes in the nutrients it needs to repair or maintain what it already has but discards the rest through sweat or by not absorbing nutrients (multiple ways it can happen). Talk to your doctor because protein injections are a common option, assuming you're fine with needles.
@ A Sad Blow Job, With a name like sad blow job, how could one pissibly disagree?
@ A Sad Blow Job, get out
@ A Sad Blow Job, I love this community
@animaniacs, as you're the only one to notice this post lately I'll share my progress. I'm currently maintaining 170 bit have cut down to 9% body fat. I'm quite happy with myself.
Obligatory "shots fired" and "triggered"
@Leprechaun Giant, "I'M SCREAMING"
@Pool boy till I die, I'M LITERALLY DYING
@Leprechaun Giant, TWO KINDS OF PEOPLE
@Leprechaun Giant, im getting fat so ill fire the first shot.... you can quote me on this. "Unless your bedridden from illness, your fat because your lazy and/or eat everything around you. Go outside and walk or something, gluten free won't save you here!"
@SilenNex, "WHY ARE WE YELLING!! "
@Leprechaun Giant, YOU ARE ALL R3TARDS
Oh wait thats ableist hahah nvm
@Leprechaun Giant, Shots triggered
@SilenNex, DID YOU JUST?
Take the blue book and you'll slim gradually with the aid of physical fitness and nutrition OR you can take the red book and everything will go back to normal
@MrWonka, *takes both to confuse people*
Survival of the fittest. I'd be able to dodge incoming threats (think car) much faster than someone with 50-100 extra pounds on their frame. Zombie land. Fatties go first
@ Tobias Widower, *extra-pound person throws you at the undead*
If you want to be fat then be fat but don't expect people to call you beautiful or you to be able to contribute to society efficiently.
@lil sebastian, first part...yes.
Second part...fat people have to spend more money on clothes and often buy waaaaaaay too much food. That's helping society
Velma really let herself go
You fat-shaming, bro?!
I'll take the right one
Option 3: just don't give a fvck and love yourself
@Thatoregonianbastard, that'll be the book on the right
@Thatoregonianbastard, being whoever you want to be is fine, but you have to accept the health and lifestyle impacts that come with being overweight. There was a recent thing where some obesity support group people photoshopped a bunch of video game characters to be overweight and spread the message that it was healthy and normal. This is just irresponsible, glorifying obesity and damaging children's idea of a healthy body. These people can't be bothered to lose weight so they try to brainwash people into becoming obese like them. It's pathetic. Sorry for the rant, I'm just angry about that
@Penitent Tangeant, No I understand. Obesity is a serious issue that shouldn't be ignored. However, there are plenty of people who are naturally overweight and not in an unhealthy way. My point is that it is cruel and stupid to shame people for looking different. The book on the right is the path of giving into resentment. Love not just yourself, but also love others.
@Thatoregonianbastard, I posted a long comment agreeing with you but It didn't send so I'll just say "agreed". Ridiculing people for their body type is pretty cruel
