The struggle is very real.
Can we just take a moment to admire these comics and how cute/heart-warming/awesome they are? They've been being posted here for years now
@Barry the Chopper, yes we can!
@Barry the Chopper, I love these comics!
@Barry the Chopper, it's kind of like marmaduke, except good
This is how I see single parents who actually take care of their kids. Complete respect.
@LordCuddlefish, absolutely. I don't think I could manage one kid by myself, let alone two.
You da real mvp
Nobody says you and your partner unless you know they are a lesbian or gay. Everyone assumes everyone else is straight. I say this comic isn't very realistic and worse they go out of their way to be PC.
@BearDaniels, not entirely. At this point in society it's just safer to say partner (or significant other which is just as good) to mean no disrespect to other person for their lifestyle. Also this is a comic and the writer has to be careful with some things that are said to please their viewers. Someone could've complained to the writer about not having other types than heterosexuals in their comics or something along those lines. So the writer(s) could've just did this to please a complaint.
@arealwerewolf, @arealwerewolf, that's what I dislike f*cking pandering and censorship because some people are too sensitive. F*ck'em and do and say what you want. Freedom of speech an sh*t.
@BearDaniels, That's completely fine for freedom of expression albeit in talking or in a form if a comic. Although I believe the writer of this comic wants at least some compensation for their work. Now in doing so they have to look at their main audience they attract and if they turn off a segment of their audience then they lose that part which would usually go to them. Now to compensate they would have to either reach out to more people in one of two ways: a broader audience which could change the way the comic is written, or to the same type of audience but in bigger numbers which would be difficult to spread unless you get the people that already are there to share it. So they probably can't have that freedom of expression as much as they'd like if they have a goal in mind
My mom was a single parent. I have a twin brother and a younger brother. We never went without food, water, a house, and really got anything we wanted. How she managed it I'll probably never know.
My mom's been a single mom since I was 7 and I am now 19 I also have a 13 year old sister. She's never had a boyfriend in all that time. It amazes me how hard she works for us and you can see the wear and tear. So here's a shout out to all the single moms and dads who try so hard for their kids doing what some families with two parents can't. Thank you
With my mom having to deal with two boys all on her own when my brother and I were 2 until we were 8, this could not be more accurate. She gave up so much for us, and I could never thank her enough
Justin Beibers mum was a single mum. Make of it what you will.
@Dragondoot, she had a normal teenager who happens to be famous and his life widely publicized. I'm not saying it makes it right, but if I had his money, I'd probably do a few out of control things myself.
