Me trying to catch up on political gossip
@Natural Sarcasm , *says opinion about hot political topic*
@TheGoogler, *replies with overly emotional angry response at our differences*
@Natural Sarcasm , *makes comment at overreaction, continues saying opinion*
@TheGoogler, *groups you together with entire demographic to make sweeping generalization*
@Natural Sarcasm , *tries to keep calm about being generalized, makes slightly offensive comment about you*
@TheGoogler, *fixates on the slight offense in an attempt to discredit you while completely ignoring everything else you’ve said*
@Natural Sarcasm , *gives up on conversation, as no progress is being made*
@TheGoogler, *feels victorious and makes another sweeping generalization cause I don’t know when to stop*
@Natural Sarcasm , *as a stranger to this debate I step in to sound like I’m siding with TheGoogler only to finish lighting the match for Natural Sarcasm and watch him get triggered and rage*
*steps aside and grabs popcorn*
@seeUpee, *makes an exhaustingly lengthy response that no one wants to read all the way through*
@seeUpee, *couldn’t say everything in one comment so it carried over to another*
@Natural Sarcasm , *doesn’t bother to read the long double response. Comments again on previous response adding more gasoline to now enflamed Natural Sarcasm*
@seeUpee, *gets defensive and starts going off on a tangent*
@Natural Sarcasm , *returns to see that the conversation is still going and expresses that you should call it a day*
@TheGoogler, *believes he’s fighting the good fight and falls back to further generalization of your character without knowing you*
@Natural Sarcasm , *makes well meaning warning to you and says goodnight as kindly as possible*
@TheGoogler, *says uncalled for insult (but secretly meant goodnight as well)*
Everyone dealing with pro-mask, pro-lockdown crazy people!
@Hot Coffee, A bold comment, Cotton, let's see how it plays out
@Hot Coffee, I work in a hospital. At first I would have disagreed, but now it’s a joke. Starting to do what I hate - believe the conspiracy theories.
@TheBigJ, don’t misunderstand me, I think the initial federal response was good. Especially Trump’s moves to isolate the US, despite outrage from Democrats. Things would have gone much better if the Democrats hadn’t made everything about COVID19 political.
COVID19 is a bad respiratory virus. Early experience was all over the place and China lied so much, making it harder to assess the real risks of the virus. We now have a good handle on the behavior of COVID19 and it isn’t the terror that we feared it would be. Trump’s move to open up the country is the correct course of action, but again, this has become a partisan issue and the facts don’t matter anymore.
@Hot Coffee, I'm afraid both parties made it political... Trump and his endorsement of bad science (see hydroxychloroquine and America's Frontline Doctors) has been frustrating. The Republicans have generally been misinterpreting the data to support downplaying the virus as much as possible (see articles on the 6% comorbidities data from CDC as it was 100% misinterpreted). It looks unapologetically ignorant to people who understand medical data. The democrats have used scare tactics to exaggerate the effect and crucify any action Trump took.
Both parties have used this for political gain in some way. Americans should be pissed at both parties.
@Dangerous Dan Spivey, true.
Funny, loaded this app up after doing a 911 call (ems) and literally this bear is me on this call, oh the ironic timing.
Well guess what here comes more!
