They did this so people wouldn't wonder why they didn't show hulk in the trailer. They didn't want you getting an idea he might not being able to morph.
@Duncan5769, looks like an older iron man suit top left too
@Zoomahkroom, That’s War Machine
@Duncan5769, they did the same thing with spiderman in civil war
@Berntley, you sure? Definitely doesn't look bulky enough and those aren't warmachines colors
@Zoomahkroom, Looks SUPER bulky to me. Look at the bracing around the neck and shoulders. And the color you’re seeing is probably gunmetal with a glint of sunshine
@Berntley, ya the bracing around the neck is the same as older suits. They probably didn't want his new nano suit in this pic
@Zoomahkroom, besides, everyone else who isn’t present during this scene in the final film is currently not present in this picture.
@Berntley, 80% of those who were there aren't present either. It's a poster advertising a movie that uses recognizable characters
@Zoomahkroom, It’s not a poster. It’s a clip from the trailer. A clip reflecting the final battle, which iron man wasn’t in, but war machine was. Granted, this meme is made to point out discrepancies between promotional materials and final product, but Banner’s impotence vs the two “lead” characters never meeting are dynamically different discrepancies.
@Duncan5769, he couldn't get it up
I like they did this in the trailer to throw us off, for the last 15 years studios would get desperate for people to watch movies by spoiling more of the plot with trailers. This is pretty smart to use fake scenes and come into the theater and see something else.
@megamanx181x, completely agree. I’d rather see fake footage that pertains little to no scenes that would spoil the movie. Maybe filming so much of a film using deleted/altered scenes and using that for the trailers not the actual film
@Scrap, I second that so much
@megamanx181x, I get a chuckle out of this because it’s appraised in the Avengers and yet people lost their shít when preview scenes in Suicide Squad we’re not shown in the movie. Then again, I’ve always been a firm believer that director should just shoot a bunch of scenes and then turn that footage over to the guys who make the previews to edit into the final movie. The preview always looks so much better than the actual movie ever is.
@Malice211, the difference is that SS was a massive disappointment, so people felt obligated to complain about a bunch of cut scenes that might’ve salvaged the movie
I think this was added before they decided he wouldn't morph
@Strider1321, budget cuts I tell ya
@Strider1321, it was confirmed it was done to not ruin the story. It was completely planned. CG would be the same if not more than leaving the hulk in. Banner not being able to hulk is a major plot point. It would be ruined if the trailer showed that
@carguy25, why can’t he go hulk? Is it worth watching? The hulk is like the wild card that every group needs
@Strider1321, Yea, you can see some of the early concept art and toys of Hulk bursting out of the hulk buster.
I Imagine they decided to save it for the next film.
@add eggs then stir, nah it was shot specifically for the trailer.
@SexySatanist, yes it is. It makes a lot of sense
@SexySatanist, The ‘not going hulk’ bits alone make the movie worth watching.
@SexySatanist, because it’s apart of the story
More will be found out In the next movie ;)
They also didn't show thanos with all the stones when fighting Cap'
Same as when they showed shots with Thor having both eyes in parts of ragnarok when he didn’t
@thejamesshow00, exactly what I was thinking.
