I get it
Its in Memphis
Memphis was a city in egypt
@SqurtieMan, it's call Cairo now
@SqurtieMan, that’s why they named the city that, after Egyptian culture
FVCK YEAH! MERICA'
It's also one of the coolest Bass pro shops. The inside is themed like a swamp with a boardwalk over pools, and there's cabins lining the sides that you can rent as a hotel
This pyramid wasn't originally built as a bass pro shop. It was originally the stadium for the Memphis grizzlies NBA team
@Notacreepyoldman, saw a game against the Bulls there way back when.
@Notacreepyoldman, If I remember correctly, we attended my cousin's graduation there when I was younger.
I’ve driven past that, and it is indeed big
I just watched The Last Jedi... no spoilers here but i gotta say, i would not watch it again..
@The Tower Of Pimps, I agree. As its own movie I thought it was rather good, but there were ultimately too many plot conveniences and Deus ex Machina moments that prevented it from being a truly great addition to the Star Wars saga
@Sexy Homunculus, plus there were some instances where you can delete it from the movie and it would not make a difference
@The Tower Of Pimps, that's exactly how I felt about the Porgs
@Sexy Homunculus, me too... gah like they served no purpose in the plot except to be cute
Im from there...
I live and work here in Memphis and it's pretty cool but it's literally the only thing to do here besides smoke meth and shoot people
I passed this place when I drove across America a little while back. I didn't know about it before hand so it was quite shocking to see.
As someone who was born in Memphis and lived the first fifteen years of his life there, fvck that pyramid. Giant waste of money that sat empty for years until bass pro bought it for a fraction of the taxpayer dollars that were used to build the stupid thing.
Spent my wedding night here in the lodge and MY GOD was it amazing. High class to the extreme.
I saw the Titanic exhibit there.
But do they do fly fishing seminars??
@bigpapazero20four, yeah your right, it’s actually first, America!
