To help drunk people get home without driving
To many abusive drunks or people dont want their car to be puked in? Still, gotta be a better solution
@PunnyBaker, Yes! my new company So-uber.... I want $100000 for a 15% share.Thank you this is the end of my presentation.
@PunnyBaker, Uber should just make a clause that states if you throw up in someones car they can charge you for cleaning. Then have the driver have to take a photo before or around the ride being canceled of the car damage. Badabung badaboom free market.
@PoliticalOtters, they have that. And in some places the drivers have a scam going where they splash fake puke on the door and you get charged $150 out of no where. Hard to dispute too, people have started taking pics of the car before they leave.
@PunnyBaker, they are goin to price hike on the drunk people. So people who may have to deal with those people are paid more. At least that’s what I’d do.
@MeatMania, that's fraud and is still illegal and you just put in a dispute function too. Look I'm just looking for solutions for imperfect people that'll solve most of the issues
@PunnyBaker, truck Uber with car seats
@PunnyBaker, maybe they have a special Uber for those types of situations. Like those drivers will have like plastic seat covers or something. They'll cost a little more but if you puke in a non drunk Uber car then you get double charged. So people might not take the risk.
@stormageddon98, i puked in my own car for the first time ever this year and i have all fabric. Luckily most of the puke got in the bag i was puking in but it was still disgusting to clean up. Id definitely charge more for drunk pickups and keep a puke bucket in my car just in case. But the ordeal definitely would have been better if i had leather. Holding the customers liable for damage or charging extra to "high risk" customers sounds like a good idea
@PunnyBaker, I mean if they can have a high class and low class level Uber then why not just add another for other particular things. Stuff like that can also work for those people that get an Uber instead of taking an ambulance ya know.
@stormageddon98, i didnt know they have high and low class ubers. Neat. Drunk-@ss uber option would work too then
...yea....why,,,,would they do that???
@A Math Dealer, I..m.e.a.n..I..r.e.a.l.l.y..d.o..n.o.t..k.n.o.w.
@A Math Dealer, there’s been incidents of drunk people throwing up in Uber’s, starting fights, etc. Just general drunk people stuff so a lot of the uber drivers are starting to get fed up.
That means Lyft needs to come through
Congratulations, you played yourself.
I drive Uber, and picking up drunk people can either be my highlight of the day or the worst part of my day. That being said I don’t plan on refusing anybody.
@TalkLlamaToYou, honestly you know what you're getting into at 2am outside a bunch of bars, like I'm sorry if people treat you poorly, but I feel like the vast majority of Uber's business in my town is picking up these people
Can say, when I drove for Uber I had people flat out assault me, scream at me, pull a knife on me. One guy even tried to grope me. Flat out reached around the driver seat to grab my crotch. Never driving other people again.
I did Uber for a while. It was a great way to make money, but a couple of times you get some unruly drunk aholes. The solution is simple: be good passengers.
They should just be able to charge more for excessive drunkenness or damage to the car... how theh would regulate that is another question
I think maybe it gives the option to the driver
