@Dragondoot, because in 1989 they could dream up hover boards, self drying cloths, rehydrating pizza, flying cars and robots made just to walk your dog. But to come up with a concept of a small portable computer that all you have to do is touch it to use it and is used by millions of people around the world to basically play games, music or watch tv on was a concept that even Robert Zemeckis and Bob Gale couldn't even think up because it was soooo far out there. :) yep I'm a Back to The Future nerd. FYI we are just now using finger print scans to unlock and start cars for use in the public.. Hover boards are still a far cry away.
