Well you're right about the explosion part.
No, no. Microwaving metal is bad. You should put it in the toaster instead.
@Jenny Talia, make sure to hold it so it doesn't fall all the way in
@Einhardt, let's hope there aren't any add Darwin award nominees here..
@Jenny Talia, people who think that holding a knife in a toaster will kill them 🤡🤡🤡
@Jenny Talia, it's much quicker if you skip plugging the toaster in and stick the knife straight in the electrical outlet instead.
It doesn't work like that, but keep up being a genius
@Not him again, lol ok boomer. How would you know if you never tried microwaving your butter knife?
@PippyPie, you must not have been on here long enough to know what happens to trolls
@Not him again, PippyPie has been here a longgggg time. I think he was just being sarcastic
@18bluecat, define a long time, because I've been here at least 10 years. And why that even matters is beyond me
@Not him again, I’ve been here longer than 10 years too except everybody loves me
@18bluecat, thank you for sticking up for me
Run the knife under hot water
@speedway guy, this is exactly it. Water is also easily wiped off and it won’t heat up the handle or explode your microwave.
@speedway guy, wouldn’t you run hot water onto the knife.
Even if this was possible it would be too hot to touch
Was not expecting that....lmao
Most decent stainless steel cutlery is actually non-reactive in the microwave.
Source: I microwave my metal mixing bowls all the time
Everybody knows a wall socket is better for this than the microwave
I had to stop myself from thinking when I thought “hey that’s a good idea. Wait a minute”
Trolls will troll
