False. We are really pissed at Finland. At least we played well against Canada in a great game. The Bronze Medal game was simply an abortion on skates. Teemu Selanne is 117 years old and he and his bunch of ice fishing, cell phone making, Angry Birds developing boys wiped us right off the ice with a 5-0 pasting.

I hate to break it to you Canadians, but a lot of people in the US don't even know about the match, nor do they care. I know you're big into hockey and think this is a big deal but the majority of the US doesn't care one bit.

@TimekeeperCST, The amount of people on the USA that care about hockey is probably more than the population of Canada. Plus it's the Olympics, pretty much everyone is aware of the Olympics. Stick to time keeping.

@Average Canadian, my only comments are that the US doesn't care. Hockey is a tiny market in the US, a step above tennis and golf. I have only heard one person even mention the match.

But I live in the deep South and the only reason I or anyone I know even knows what the outcome of the game was because of these Canadian pictures talking about how upset we are. I really couldn't care any less than I already don't care

@TimekeeperCST, if Americans care so little, why are there more american hockey teams than there are Canadian? Oh ya, cause there's a bigger market and more money in the States. And if there wasn't fans there wouldn't be a market. So your argument is invalid.

@Average Canadian, actually the percentages are exactly what you need to be looking at. However if you don't want to look at percentages you can look at television ratings, attendance records, when compared to the other sports hockey simply is our fourth sport. The fact that there are more teams in America is a relevant there simply more big cities and a larger population. Even if your claim of there being more hockey fans in America then the total population of Canada that still only about 10 to 15 percent of our total population and I would wager that it's a safe bet to say there are way more than ten or fifteen percent of Canadians that love hockey. And that is coming from someone who is a huge hockey fan, to be honest I don't quite understand why something like basketball is more popular than hockey given that basketball is as much fun as watching grass grow.

Hockey is America's 4th best sport. Hockey is Canada's best sport. Canada won gold. America came in 4th. This is Illuminati stuff right here, guys.
