Imposter! Canada can't be mean, or it would implode the universe worse than dividing by zero.
@sneskid, Sorry to burst your bubble. We try to keep the 5% of our population that is actually mean suppressed with rainbows and puppies but sometimes one escapes.
@sneskid, if you called any canadian american you offend their great ancestors... We will kill
@sneskid, No one wants to be American, that's the only way you can anger Canada
@sneskid, I'm from Minnesota and get jokingly called Canadian because I'm always saying sorry and stuff like that. Also there's a Minnesota accent that sounds a little Canadian I guess and u think this pic is referencing that. Minnesota's a nice place eh?... oh no.
@Lettuce man, nah, more like no one wants to a damn commie, ya damn commie
Minnesota and North Dakota stereotypes are very similar to Canadian ones so I can see where people get us mixed up. *commenting from minnesota*
I'm from Minnesota :3
@Sarina, me too m8
Well technically everyone on the American continents are Americans.
@Smart Deathclaw, hence United States of America(North South) but I guess we don't call ourselves United Statesians
Proof that nobody but America wants to be America
@TheReturnMan, Ah yes, there's nothing like the undisputable proof of a comic, right?
@TheReturnMan, USA!! USA!! USA!! USA!! USA!!
@P4nts, dunno why so many people thing other countries want to be like america anyway...
@TheReturnMan, I don't think Americans thing everyone wants to be American
@TheReturnMan, except for the several million people who immigrate into America every year... Last time I checked there are still hundreds of Cubans who risk their lives in rickety boats because they want to become American.
@talmet, you people don't understand jokes
@TheReturnMan, I get that you tried to tell one...but it was rather stupid & insulting. Good jokes are based on truths, go watch some good comedians on Netflix. Just making some stupid comment, is not a joke. I.e. Saying some stupid sexist crap about women is not a joke, but pointing out all the ways women lie on a consistent basis like Chris Rock does, is a joke. "you're wearing makeup, your face don't look like that. You're wearing heels, you're not that tall & your butt don't look like that...."
Canada doesn't appreciate how everyone compares him to his more successful brother.
@BearDaniels, Success isn't being 18 trillion in dept, having the highest obese population, or the lowest education system, not to mention highest crime rate.
I'm just gonna say yes technically everyone on the continent is an American but being an American is known to refer to people from the USA. And we statesians or whatever because other countries like Mexico also have united states as part of their name. There simply is no other way to refer to USA citizens but to call them Americans.
@randombot, I don't know what happened to that second sentence. But it should you can't call Americans statesians or whatever....
As a native Minnesotan I resent the use of the word "bro"
@WelI Obviously, I agree with this statement
Yay! How relatable!
But Canada and all of the countries in the Americas are american. America is a continent not a country
EVERYONE WHO LIVES ON THE CONTINENTS OF NORTH AND SOUTH AMERICA ARE "AMERICANS". Deal with it.
But Canada IS America.
Can we get a real Canadian's opinion of Americans on here? I'm so confused at this point.
@RMB, people here really do get offended when you call them American, probably not this offended, but we do get at least a little offended
@Dave the barbarian, weird, I wouldn't mind being called Canadian... I think I get this picture now
@RMB, I feel we more get offended because unlike the U.S. we have a harder time creating a national culture because there's soooo many different cultures wanting to be recognized. So for me at least it's more frustration than being offended
@Dave the barbarian, and over the other border, everyone is "American"
Remember kids, all the mean Canadians go to border patrol *The More You Know*
Don't you dare give Canadians that kind of credit. They could never be america.
Its actually Du bist Amerikaner. Take the ein out :€
@VoluptuousBacon, And (I think) the du should be a sie. It's more…Respectful I think.
@Sir Unimpressive, yes. Sie sind would be preferable to du bist.
I'm dual citizenship, so I could care less which you call me :P
'Am make sorry,' poor little guy.
