Me when watching a porno
me: "oh yeah, thats hot"
inner me: "this is quite unrealistic, the anus of a toddler could never be this elastic..."
@Skateined, there are only 4 to 6 holes in a standard porno
@InsaneAnimeCleavage, are we counting ears eyes and nose?
@theduuuude, no, only the main holes
@InsaneAnimeCleavage, there’s four to six buttholes in every porno?!?
@theduuuude, mouths and vaginas
Me while watching stranger things
@Xelric, Just finished the first season. Cheesy as hell but I love it.
@SimonPetrikov, yeah haha it's worth all the cheese in the end though
@Xelric, Oh hell yeah. I like that the padding is minimal. Plot moves forward and I like the main cast.
@SimonPetrikov, I agree, the people are likeable enough and it's fun trying to figure out what's gonna happen next. I did find it tough having to sit through hour long episodes though. I wasn't used to that.
Cinema Sins *ding!*
Depends on the tone.
In stuff like Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, and the Bourne series, plot holes will irritate me.
In stuff like Mad Max, John Wick, and Stranger Things, I'll let it slide.
Then there's Us and Unbreakable, where I love the movie, but I have a hard time ignoring the plot holes despite the focus on theme over narrative.
@SimonPetrikov, Honestly, and I mean no offense here, but this sounds like it’s just personal bias, and not based on anything the movie or show actually has to offer. I get that Mad Max and John Wick aren’t really meant to have much depth of plot, but Stranger Things clearly is, and to hold it less accountable than the likes of the other shows sounds like you just like it more, so you’re willing to overlook plotholes.
I think it’s fair to say we all do this. I’ll tear apart just about any DC film they release, while giving nearly all Marvel properties a pass, because I’m just an exclusionary asshole in that regard. I had a buddy who hated Last Jedi SO much that his frequent protests and goading toward me liking it literally signaled the downfall of our friendship (it’s not what killed it, but it certainly made me more receptive to how shîtty he could be). For at least six months after the release of the film, he would randomly hit me with articles and YouTube videos about
@Berntley, “space doesn’t work that way” and all this other trivial garbage, trying to force me to rationalize my non-hatred for the movie cause he didn’t like it, and it just got so tiring, because he wouldn’t do that for other movies (mostly movies that didn’t have controversial “political” standing to them). He was probably one of those shîtstains who created thirty different rotten tomatoes accounts to trash the movie and bring down the score.
Anyway, this all has very little to do with you, but thanks for letting me vent.
Current watching bad blood. Besides the gangsta stuff... don’t care much about the plot
