Then he becomes a legend when he has ten confirmed kills with that spoon...
@megamanx181x, you dont mess with Captain Crunch!
@a shiny haunter, as the enemy whispers cowardly to warn others of the menace that is captain crunch
When I was at MCRD San Diego, a fellow recruit was caught hiding candy from a care package (without permission). For about 3 weeks the most sadistic of our DI's punished him for it. Any time another recruit got in trouble, this poor guy had to join the Incentive Training (punishment workout). The DI would shout, "Skittles!" And the recruit responded, "taste the rainbow!" He would also make him sing Bow Wow Wow's "I Want Candy" during IT. It ended when a bunch of us learned the full song and used it for cadence during a timed PT run. The recruit was in our running pack and did the solo for the chorus. The DI said it was the funniest, best team unity he's ever seen, so he stopped using the punishment.
I love captain crunch cereal, and this guy knows how to kill someone with a spoon like Rick!? This is amazing!
I swear someone has a /k/ humor folder exactly like mine and is uploading it piece by piece to FP. Two can play at this game.
@Captain Swordsman, >.>
"I'll cut your heart out with a spooon!"
This would be a lot better if he actually reached the rank of Captain
I love DIs
Has anybody read Battle Royal? It's been 5 years for me (Jesus Christ, five years? And what do I have to show for it? Facial hair and insecurity), but I remember a kid got a spoon as a weapon.
@OrphanCrippler44, Who's it by, might I ask?
This is false because the Marine corps still teaches bayonet combat and they wouldn't use DS (drill sergeant) they use DI (drill instructor)
Making this mistake is fatal
@Medic135, you are correct, that the USMC uses Drill Instructors, not Drill Sergeants, but the OP never specifically notes what military branch this is.
I call BS on the story because he referred to himself as a recruit (USMC accurate) then quotes the "DS" as calling him "cadet" a couple lines later. Anyone who served even 2 weeks would not mix up these titles.
@JDPhi, also USMC uses bayonets still, no one else does
@Medic135, I can't dispute the bayonet issue, since I'm many years removed from MCRD, but I agree with your call of BS on the OP by providing further evidence of discrepancy with reality for someone who actually went to USMC boot camp
That picture is of Hades from the Hercules movie, correct?
@Mattizzle9, I mean, probably
