@Depressed Panda, the ancient Sumerians had base 60! To count, you can use one of five digits on one hand to point to one of twelve knuckles on the other. Base 60 is far superior to base 10. It's soooooo divisible. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 10, 12, 15, 20, 30 and 60 times tables would've been super easy. What do we have? A grand total of four factors in our base? Screw the decimal system.
Ever wondered if our entire counting system would be different if humans had 4 or 6 fingers per hand? We use a base10 System, but if we had no fingers at all, we might be using binary.
