@Heywood Jablomi, Wolves aren’t like that though towards humans. There has never been a confirmed human death from a wolf believe it or not.

@TriangleTesticles, while extremely rare, they do attack and kill people. 2010 in Alaska was the most recent. On a side note, many more have need attributed to wolves but due to lack of a body it could not be confirmed. These wolves are most likely at a sanctuary and use to humans.

@TriangleTesticles, a friend of mine spent a year in Alaska doing big game hunts and general wildness survival and he said on many occasions that a certain pack of wolves (I’m not sure how he knew it was the same pack just relaying what he said) would constantly chase/stalk him and a few times they very nearly attacked him. You may be correct that there aren’t deaths but I’m sure there’s some accounts of attacks on humans by wolves

Bears are notoriously unpredictable and will turn hostile without warning.

My takeaway from this is that nature photographers are real life disney princesses. Except maybe those guys in the last picture.

Ever wonder if animals we instinctually run from only charge us because to them it’s funny that we run away? Like when people scare birds for no reason.
