This is tumblr everyday
@Weiss, actually it's just the words TRIGGER in bold red letters
Ned Stark did not lie.
@The Handlebar , yeah but he did *******SPOILERS*******
So where's my pot of gold?
Christian and bisexual! Just saying. Your opinion changes nothing. It just annoys people. The strongest relationship i have seen is between two women and they also have the strongest faith in God that i have ever seen.
I don't have a Facebook, so...
Canadian anyone ?
@PornBaby , does Canada permit marriage equality?
@Luna 5, idk man, maybe not permitted but I mean .. You can do anything with a priest and a backroom
@PornBaby , wait Nevermind I saw someone said it has for like 10 years sorry good for you guys
@Luna 5, yeah man 😂
Praise the Rainbow!! ✋🏻🌈✋🏻
Taste the rainbow, of equality.
Everybody shut up with your opinions! *flees to Antarctica*
I don't think your computer screen should act as a prism
Alright time for some funny pics honesty, tbh I don't think gay marriage should happen, my reason for thinking this? It goes against my beliefs as a Christian. The bible says that marriage was created by God for a man and a woman and should not be changed by man. And it saddens me that with this change to the country we are that much closer to completely eliminate God from this country. Even though this country was built off of God and the bible. And I know that's this comment will get more dislikes than up votes but I feel like their are people that agree with me and they have the right to have some one show the otherside of the argument. Please don't show too much hate I spent a lot of time typing this and I just wanted to use my freedom of speech.
@ArnoldSchwarzenegrer, and it should stay that way
@ArnoldSchwarzenegrer,*ducks in cover*
@ArnoldSchwarzenegrer, I completely respect it as being part of your religion, but marriage comes with insurance, inheritance, and other kinds of benefits that married people gain (filing for joint income tax, hospital visitation rights, etc). My aunt and uncle, for example were married earlier than planned because of insurance benefit deadlines. As a Christian myself, I believe that America was created for everyone, not only Christians and I see no reason why my religion should limit what others can do. Gay marriage doesn't affect me, and makes others happy, so it's right in my opinion. I hope I didn't offend you!
@knight of shift, yea as a safety measures I've decided to spend a week hiding in a bunker
@ArnoldSchwarzenegrer, I completely respect your religious views and opinion, but marriage is not purely for Christians. Others are allowed to marry to. Marriage was around before religion, and to deny normal people one of the most basic civil rights is inhumane. The change of this country, while it can be extreme, is not meant to eliminate God, but is making room for those who don't believe in god the same way as you.
@ArnoldSchwarzenegrer, I completely agree with you. I'm also a Christian and, while I have nothing against gays, I don't support gay marriage
@ArnoldSchwarzenegrer, well what if that person doesnt follow the bible?
@ArnoldSchwarzenegrer, But not everyone is Christian, and this country was founded on the freedom of religion. Why let religious beliefs govern our people when they might not believe in that religion? Another point is the separation of church and state. Government should not restrict others rights due to a religious standard.
@GiveMeYourMilk, my two best friends are gay, I practice no religion, and I understand where you guys are coming from. The way it was explained to me is that if you discovered a new color you wouldn't call it blue because that already exists. Yes there should be a formal union between gays should it be called marriage, I'm not sure, I'm happy they have those rights however and I'm glad gays are being recognized.
@GiveMeYourMilk, yea the way I look at it is that if your gay who cares but it's not right to pervert something that was created by God for your own benefits
@ArnoldSchwarzenegrer, Exactly. I know some people can't help being gay and don't choose it, and I have no problem with it. But I don't agree with gay marriage and promote it. I don't have anything against gays though, and I think that is what others take the wrong way. I understand that others don't have the same beliefs, and I am not forcing my beliefs down their throats. All I am saying is that I don't agree with it
@Weiss, it's true that there are multiple benefits to marriage but the problem is that gay marriage goes against the Christian belief. If someone supports gay marriage that's fine but no one should be trying to guilt or force any Christian to accept gay marriage either the respect needs to go both ways. Great discussion guys alway appreciate it when the comment section is a decent conversation.
@Weiss, (I know I'm not on tumbler but) THIS
@ArnoldSchwarzenegrer, *whispers* god didn't create marriage. And this is a legal issue in a secular nation - these people just want the same insurance as you. If you don't like gay marriage, my advice to you would be not to marry a person of the same sex. Who other people marry literally does not hurt you in any way
@ScottASTi, no one is forcing Christians or anyone to get married to a person of the same sex don't worry -- the decision made today just kept people with different feelings and perhaps different beliefs from being forced NOT to marry
@Luna 5, true I'm just saying that in my experience I've heard on more than one occasion that I should just accept gay marriage now. As a Christian I won't do that nor do I have to just as a gay supporter doesn't have to accept my beliefs either. Pro gay supporters try to push their agenda on others to.
@ArnoldSchwarzenegrer, when the country was created (the constitution, not the colonies or the articles) it was intended to be separate from church. We are not driving god away from culture, just away from places where it can pervert justice as it already had been proven to do with witch hunts. A church is not required to marry a gay couple, but a legal court is. Now other people can be happy and you can be happy that the followers of your belief still can restrict their followers. It's not justice to restrict someone who does not agree with your philosophy or myth (commonly told creation story). If I believed salvation came from striking yourself on the hand with a hammer once before every meal, anyone who agreed with me is welcome to partake in the action, but I can't go into a restaurant and start smashing people's hands in.
@The Megaton Bomb, Also all of the things mentioned by Weiss are handled by the government, not the church (with the exception of donations in the will specifically directed to the church), so denying them access to marriage is by definition treating them as unequal, second class citizens.
@ArnoldSchwarzenegrer, it's your opinion and it should be kept to yourself. *hides in flame shield bunker*
@notMrWonka, yea to that point, I'd argue that Christians are misusing "marriage" in place of the sacrament of matrimony. Marriage is purely legal and has nothing to do with Christianity. *source: 13 years of catholic education*
@ArnoldSchwarzenegrer, sorry man, but the country was founded off of religious freedom. You can practice your religion and not be affected by this and they can practice how they want
@ArnoldSchwarzenegrer, as a Christian just be happy that they can't force Churches to hold their weddings. Isn't that an alright compromise?
@ArnoldSchwarzenegrer, Well, I agree with you, if that means anyone.
@ArnoldSchwarzenegrer, I meant anything, not anyone.
@Lil Bjtch, You know, people will be suing churches for not catering to them.
@ archiethesailor, separation of church and state
@Lil Bjtch, I know it shouldn't be allowed, but it'll happen
@notMrWonka, huh. That's an interesting way to put it. I like that.
@ archiethesailor, they'll lose all of those cases. A vast majority of judges would not presume to force the church's hands. That's a case I. Which the first amendment actually applies
@ArnoldSchwarzenegrer, I bet most of the Godly "christains" who enthusiastically nodded and upvoted this have had pre marital sex, watch porn on a regular basis, masturbate on a regular basis, have done one or all of these things at least once, have lied, have cheated, and have stolen. Divorce is ungodly too! But when someone in your family grts a divorce yall don't shun them, or say well I disagree, or go riot at the divorce office! Everyone sins or has sinned, but this one truly makes two people in love very happy and gives them equal rights as citizens.
@ArnoldSchwarzenegrer, the Bible also says sex is strictly for reproduction. So if any of you "Christains" have used condems in any pretext whatsoever, guess what?! You sinned too!! Let's all petition condem and birth control manufacturers!! All you happily married couples need to stop bonding with sex and get to baby making!
@ArnoldSchwarzenegrer, My dad and I were talking and agreed that soon the gov. will force churches to marry the gays. We have the freedom of religion and people need to know what religion is about. The freedom to disagree is being faded away. If you don't agree with the public you are a monster when you just are a firm believer.
@ArnoldSchwarzenegrer, I honestly don't know how people think that America was built on Christianity, it was built on freedom of religion, or lack there of. Maybe as an atheist i have a stronger opinion on this but I'm starting to get real tired of ignorance in this country. Spend a few minutes of your clearly precious time and read what the building blocks of our society are.
Should have been left up to the state.
I'm gonna do an internet! WOOOOOOOAH
I too look at the visible spectrum of light while looking at a computer.
@Flyman, except its usually all put together
"Doctor, I think I may be a homosexual!"
@Tiny Zemouregal, Why do you think that?
