And still some people boycott them for their political leanings. Kind of sad.
@The Flame War, more of a religious belief thats been made political. Btw i eat Chic fil a every chance I get
@mycatsanahole, I don't have them in my country which is a tad disappointing.
@The Flame War, plus they hate gay people? That's a pretty good reason to not eat there.
@Depressed Retail Guy, Do they? How so?
@Depressed Retail Guy, um. That’s a lie. Supporting traditional marriage doesn’t equal hating gay people anymore than liking cheeseburgers means you hate chicken.
@The Flame War, everyone who boycotts ends up eating there... sooner or later. Those weirdly cut French fries are to suck dick for
@Pubmarine Shamwich, the issue is the owner donated part of his income from the company towards conversion therapy camps.
@seeUpee, That's a very 'unique' expression.
@Kino, if it means I get some delicious chicken, I’m willing to give them some names for their camps, or donate directly. Hell, I have a bi friend that says he’d be willing to be shocked straight for a year of chicken
@Pubmarine Shamwich, opposing gay marriage means believing that gay people don’t deserve the same rights as straight people.
@seeUpee, I won’t. I haven’t eaten food from Chick-fil-A since 2001.
@CapnVulmorg, you sir are a trooper!!!
@The Flame War, just a reminder that if a Muslim oriented chain popped up and had religious beliefs on gay people... well... We probably wouldn’t question it
@LoveTheBomb137, it would most likely be boycotted by the exact same people who boycott chick-fil-A
@Pubmarine Shamwich, that's an improper analogy though. Liking cheeseburgers doesn't exclude chicken by its very definition. Traditional marriage, by its definition, excludes gay people. This is a true dichotomy.
@The Flame War, pretty sure we’ve accepted refugees without a story that sad. Id try it
@Depressed Retail Guy, they support traditional marriage, based on the religious beliefs of the owners. They hire gay employees, who have overwhelmingly come out in support of the company and say they are treated just like every other employee.
@seeUpee, and that THICC chicken
@DevilDannyTanner, juicy white meat! A delicacy
@The Flame War, Well, from a political standpoint, I am against Chic Fil A because I don't like food that tastes like cardboard.
@Kino, its his income he can do what he wants with it, if you donate money to the spaghetti monster church sure people may think there are better uses, but i wouldnt boycott a business that helps thousands of all walks of life because of someones personal decisions. Now if he specifically donated chic fila money and revenue not just his income thats different.
@SimonPetrikov, you monster! Their chicken is delicious, you take that back!
@Cpzombie, How about I take it to the TRASH, where their food belongs.
@Kino, not an issue. I could do whatever the hell I want with my money. And the conversion camps aren’t forced. They are for people who want it. There’s nothing wrong with them.
@Child Slapper, overly religious and forceful parents can send their children to them. It's a cause of suicide rate
This man would later go on to be President of the United States. His real name? Barrack Obama
I was there, everyone clapped
Accidentally disliked...won't let me fix it :(
Imagine being such a desperate one hit wonder that you adopted identity politics to keep yourself relevant
