As an electrical engineer and a Christian, this hurts. A lot.
@RepostSniper, you are a contradiction! Like Scotch-Korean, or how Starburst can be a solid and juicy!
@RepostSniper, I'm fairly certain this is from a really old textbook. Hopefully long enough ago when no one actually knew much about electricity.
@RepostSniper, or maybe they made up the title since it's a caption not a pic. I would believe it either way. People have an act for giving Christian's a bad rap.
@RepostSniper, likely this was made up by some atheist to mock Christian's.
@RepostSniper, as an electrical engineer can confirm we have no idea how electricity works. It’s pfm
@RepostSniper, must be hard to Do a job you can't even understand huh
@RepostSniper, the phrase willfully ignorant comes to mind
I'm sure we will get top quality politicians from this school.
@ThePandaPool , this must be the school Betsy DeVos went to.
@ThePandaPool , f*cking worthy of an *OH SNAP*
I went to Christian school and the the only Christian-centric books we used were for bible classes. The rest were "secular textbooks" because you can be Christian and still teach real science, math, history, etc.
@The Eye of the Hawk, It’s the creationists that go off the rails. The ones that think nothing in bible could possibly be designed as moral metaphors or anything.
@GrandpaScoozy, go grab a fork and put it in a light socket Christians. You can be the first to “feel” electricity!
Go do it now! You certainly want to be first.
God certainly works in mysterious ways...
@DFYANT, I did that an nothing happened. Now my favorite plastic fork is broken, so thanks a lot for that.
"The Big Gay is a rampant epidemic that is currently not understood by our researchers. They have delved deeply into the gay culture, even enacting some of their rituals, but have requested more time within the culture in order to better penetrate this mystery."
I really hope people like this don’t turn into a majority. Not religious, just, not trying to understand technology. Well just get to a point where no one can even fix what tech we got, let alone make more
@Dexios S Divine, but Brawndo's got what plants crave!
@Not him again, what even are electrolytes
@BigJohnson86, th..theyre what plants crave
I went to Christian grade school and high school and I don't remember any nonsense like this in any of the religion text books. They basically just had stuff about the religion, and morals. The crappy writing style was the same though.
@Not him again, this is probably in rural areas. I’ve been through some towns in the south and damn are they dumb. Seems like the closer to cities you get the higher the education gets. Not like its all that high these days though
@Dexios S Divine, good point. On both things, unfortunately.
Ted Bundy felt electricity, once.
These are the same people who deny climate changes. 🤦♂️
@ios11, no, to deny climate change requires first accepting there is climate.
These folks aren’t quite there yet.
Look how modestly she's dressed! She must be a good girl
Gotta love religion.
Plz let that hairdryer have a little more oof and just *pop gots my frontalcortex*
This ain't a religious problem. This a crazy people problem.
So what did I feel when I was a kid and put a 9 volt battery to my tongue?
I’m pretty sure anyone who sat in old sparky felt the fvcker.
Psshhh everyone knows electricity comes from Ben Franklin and his magic kite
Electricity is created when a current carrying conductor bisects a magnetic pole.
