"Guys, the thermal drill, go get it."
Gotta love payday. So glad it's getting updated again :)
@HELLUVA ENGINEER, I tried getting into that game but I just couldn't. I found it so boring
@PacificaPelican, yeah, it gets repetitive when grinding levels, but free skin every day if you do a heist
@Bad boy Eric, yeah I can't do grind. That's what's made me lose interest in destiny and every mmo I've played
@PacificaPelican, trying to create the perfect build kind of occupies you but it gets boring after an while
@PacificaPelican, eh I think if it got boring for you, you probably weren't utilizing all the activities at your fingertips. Either that or you gave up before you got to like level 30 before you can do stealth heists which are likely the most fun part of the game. Or you were playing on to easy of a difficulty, if you just play on normal and hard the games boring as all sin, but put it on death wish and you've got yourself a game.
I always made sure to swap my weapons and my build every other heist so that things don't get repetitive. Like I try to make the game as fun as possible and if I get levels cool, but if not I'm fine with it, the game doesn't need to be a grinding sim.
@HELLUVA ENGINEER, my issue was not only with the grind. I also just felt the heists were boring. Some were pretty fun but most of them I felt bored. Like I never felt a sense of accomplishment when I played that game. It's hard to describe it just wasn't for me
@PacificaPelican, well if you ever pick it back up, make sure you go and attempt the shadow raid job in stealth and get every piece of loot out of the complex including the samurai armor without ever tripping the alarm. You'll feel like you pulled off one of gaming's greatest achievements after that. And the "less than 0.1% of people have this achievement" notice that you'll get afterwards will be proof enough.
It's a game where you make your own fun by giving yourself challenges, not the other way around.
