Vote here for subbed
@Zamics, I am honestly surprised with this turnout. I would've bet money on dubbed.
@Zamics, I'm not as at least the subs stay truer to the story, though I like all three
True. I've never felt that I had a greater or lesser story because of dubbed episodes, but the wording will certainly more different with dubbs.
@Zamics, the american voices to me are just soooo wrong. except for a handfull. like fma
@Zamics, vote here for just watching the damn movie
@Zamics, dubbed doesn't convey the emotion correctly and sometimes changes words, which changes the story
Vote here for manga
@Zamics, manga, because I don't have the time to watch and I can get more story in less time
@Raidder, good a reason as any.
@Zamics, ...I like them all...
@OneHellOfAButler, But the unspoken question is which one is your favorite, not which ones do you like.
Vote here for Dubbed
@Zamics, Honestly, it depends on the anime for me.
@John Nash, like, genres or certain shows?
@Zamics, Depends on the anime for me also. If the voice acting is garbage for dub, I'll watch subbed. But for animes where the voice acting is good like Fullmetal or Black butler, I'll watch it dubbed
@Zamics, I only like certain dubs. Like Ouran High School Host Club for example. But for Inuyasha: The Final Chapter, the new guy for Sesshomaru is UGH.
@Zamics, the only anime (in my opinion) that did the dub the best was full Metal alchemist brotherhood
@Lord Tywin Lannister, I still need to watch that. I watched regular FMA, really loved it, but apparently Brotherhood is better, so got to watch it too now.
@Zamics, I actually haven't seen the original FMA, but based on the few episodes I've seen I prefer brotherhood because it follows the Manga through and through.
@Koneko Toujou, I like dubbed slice of life animes. The dubb voice actors that do those are amazing in my opinion.
@John Nash, true. I would rather watch (for example) SAO subbed but cringe at the thought of watching DBZ subbed
@Lord Tywin Lannister, you are completely correct
@Zamics, I think dubbed because in my opinion, most people choose subbed because it's the original, mostly. But, the original isn't always necessarily the best. There have been tons of examples of such. I doubt most people would choose a black and white tv with a dial over a 40 inch plasma screen tv. Or in games, most people like the originals, mario, Zelda, pokemon, etc, but honestly, the newer versions of said games are much better in my opinion. Sure, classics are great, but newer things have surpassed the old and original in just about every way now.
@Umbreon, Well put. I would agree with this on many occasions.
@Zamics, I feel like you miss lots of the visuals if you're reading text at the bottom of the screen. Less immersive imo.
@John Nash, same
@Zamics, a good dub beats any sub.
I honestly don't understand the hate on dubs, most now a days are pretty stellar. I'd much rather focus on the characters and scenery than stare at text the entire time.
@Proactive Citizenry , Agreed, I'll take dubbed over subbed any day (with the exception of Naruto, who sounds like a 5 year old in dub).
@Proactive Citizenry , I can never do dub, other than DBZ. Not after One Piece.
@LostKatt, but they're are plenty of good dubs out there! Cowboy Bebop, Samurai champloo, FMA, Soul Eater, Magi, etc.
@LostKatt, what about pokemon dub
@Proactive Citizenry , a few dubs sound wired like the anime I saw about samurai with British accents.
@Mail Man of Legend, and that's a problem?
Subs all the way listening to the way it was intended is so much better

Funny Pics Poll: Like for Dubs
Why note both? *Mexican music plays*
@Tactical Ignis, I appreciate you and this commercial reference
I guess it's dubs for me since cap told me too
I like this make more
Vote here is anime is terrible and is just an unfunny cartoon
Since I don't speak Japanese I think dubs are easier to understand
Subbed over dubbed but manga over all.
I'm going to vote both subbed and manga, since some animes are significantly different from their source manga. If it floats your boat however, you a free to watch Dubs
*Sees Scarlet Johanson* "Dibbs!!"
I guess I'm not cool... I thought the first two frames meant subwoofers vs dub rims, like wicked sound system for your car or flashy exterior... *next pic*
Which one I like better depends on the show. Sometimes dub is better, and sometimes sub is better. Of course, you can't really go wrong with manga, and you can learn Japanese if you want to watch hentai without subtitles.
Never snub the sub. Dubbed usually means "sliced diced chopped and severely sterilized for American viewing".
I gives no fxcks so long as I get some god damned anime
All of them.
Depends on which show. I think the dub for Gurren Laagan was better than the subs.
The only sub I don't like is dragon Ball z, I can't stand goku's voice in the sub
@docsimmons, same goes for me on the original sailor moon. I HATE Usagi's voice in Japanese. But personally I do all three. I read the Manga, watch it subbed and then play it dubbed (not all the time). Currently doing it with one piece. I started December of 2013.
Aww, I missed my own upload
Subs for live action, dubs for anime.
And yet not a Martian Manhunter movie in sight.
