@WhiteR, make the sides out of glass. It's perfect.... Ish. Thermal expansion and a metal-glass joint would spell a short life for the product. Maybe with Invar but that stuff is Very expensive.

wouldn’t it just get super foggy?
I feel like whatever material these pots are made of it is a terrible design as both plastic and glass are classified as insulating materials.
