Parking at college sucks
@TheHippie52, when are we gonna agree that agreeing with the pics are not funny?
I mean, yes it's a fvcking true story, it's fvcking meant to be relatable and funny. And then you come in like captain obvious saying how water is wet. I know I'm being mean, I had a bad day cause most of the comments on my pics I uploaded are just "DUES VULT".
@Steven guy, tone down the salt.
I usually comment the first thing that pops in my head. Its a reaction comment, if ppl upvote it, it's because they also said "true story" in their head.
Either way what's it to you? Say something funnier and get that top comment!
@TheHippie52, I tried saying something funnier, but it's too late cause the "true story" comments are already top comment...
@Steven guy, it has one upvote lol
If you have something funny to say then say it! Don't believe that "if it's not the first few comments you won't get top comment" bs
@TheHippie52, when I said already top comment, I mean like 15+ upvotes already, and considering the fact that people only look at the top, it makes it harder for everyone. Also, you have 2 'say' in your comment.
@Steven guy, comments about funny stuff tend to have a better chance then whinny posts about not having a chance to get enough of likes. Who he hell cares if you get top comment or not. There is zero incentive for "earning" it just post something people like and be happy if they end up liking it if it matters to you
@Steven guy, this might not be the app for you my friend
@Steven guy, use your free upvote, buddy, it'll be okay. And here, have one of mine 👍
@DownvoterGuy, I'm sorry I think you may have the wrong username there buddy. Going around upvoting people with a name like downvoter guy. What is the world coming to lol
@George Feeny, it was my fathers name 😢 he never got the chance to raise me in his image
@DownvoterGuy, You. I like you. You're funny.
@Steven guy, you value upvotes and top comment way too highly. It's not just you, of course, which is why I even bother to use the voting system.
Try not to care soo much about something that means so little compared to your actual real life.
@CynicalSirr, good point, I'll forget about it in about 2 hours and continue to be toxic again
@Steven guy, that's the spirit!
This... I use to ask people if they want a ride to their car so I can get their spot
College is a bad idea for a lot of people. I knew a girl while I was going who had $100k debt for a masters in sociology and no idea what she was going to do with it. But, her parents wanted her to go to college, so....
@Oujosh29, college isn't a bad idea. It's a bad idea to get so far into college not knowing what to do that you put yourself thousands of dollars in debt.
@Oujosh29, statistically people who go to college earn more than people who don't. Right now I'm working in a museum and I get $4 and hour more than my coworker because I have a degree. It's not even a degree that relates to the museum. Just the fact that I graduated qualifies me for a higher level of employment.
@Oujosh29, college is not a bad idea for anyone there is no excuse except for those who truly don't want to better themselves. Even if you have a family and are a single parent you can normally take a single course, even if it's online, every semester. The price shouldn't be a big deal for one course at a community college per semester. Now a days just about every job requires a degree of some kind and it's truly silly to limit yourself.
@HolyCatchphrase, same here I have an education degree and got my job in healthcare field simply because having a degree was a requirement. You get a degree to either prepare you for the job you want or you get one because any other jobs you may want will require a degree down the road
@HolyCatchphrase, it can be great, but you need a plan how to use the degree and it needs to be in demand. Making $4 more an hour won't help someone who owes $100k in student loans
@Oujosh29, it's not like it's my career, I just graduated and it's a summer job. It's just an example. Because I have a degree they could hire me full time on salary (which would be much more than $4 more an hour) but that can't happen for my coworker. There are plenty of jobs that require a degree - no matter what that degree is.
@Oujosh29, my roommate and her boyfriend are both looking to get jobs with the state. Reliable jobs with good benefits. She has a degree and he doesn't. Her degree has nothing to do with any of it but because she has it her starting wage would be about $1,500 more a month than his and there are some positions he's simply not eligible for. College isn't for everyone but generally speaking you get paid more if you have one.
@HolyCatchphrase, your roommate should look at federal jobs. In general feds get paid a lot more than state workers with better benefits.
i went to college but i fully support blue collar jobs, a bunch of people working on computers is not going to rebuild roads and bridges
@lemongrenade, I truly don't know how much longer it will be before even those jobs will require a degree. With so many people going to college now a days all jobs are able to be more picky about who they hire.
No lie, I went to class 30 minutes late after arriving 1h 30mins before class started. Fück that noise.
Ya, you should definitely stay and take more English classes.
