Has failed every time it has been tried
I smell a new meme...
@LazyLemon , *sniffs meme*
I think you might be onto something...
@The Real Grim Reaper, oh I was hoping it was food you were smelling
But. If it isn’t necessary. Shouldn’t it be left up??
@Villain in Glasses, oh yeah. You're right. The meme is ruined for me now, thanks jerk.
@18bluecat, you’re welcome
But vodka is
@Greathoneybagger88, actually it would be just water *
This is only the beginning
@Landrover, yeah, what you don't see is also the fall of human decency, Christian Ukrainian population, and freedom.
@Landrover, nobody argues that Holodomor didn’t happen, it did, but the current argument among historians hinges on whether or not the famine was intentional, like the Herero genocide or accidental, like the dust bowl. I could go into more detail but I doubt anyone is interested. Though the meme that the “USSR Have no food” is really only accurate during the early collectivization of farms and Stalins reign (1924-1953), and only during some periods of that time, And only in some parts of the country. The post Stalin Soviet Citizen got the same or more calories per day on average than a US citizen at the same time, even until 1991. The US however had larger selections of food to choose from. Which is why so much of modern Russian and Eastern European cooking hinges on soups and staples. Though they do make those soups and staples delicious, try Shchi, Solyanka Pelmeni or Vareniki if you don’t believe me.
@Spetsnaz , this meme is about stalin though, so saying stalin doesn’t think food is necessary would be accurate even according to you
@Spetsnaz , my favorite Eastern European soup is vodka 🍸
