Cops on the loose
Notice the gearshift . It's all the way up. That means it is on "P" which means "Pork". I mean "Park".
@NakedInChurch, the tastiest of gears
@NakedInChurch, Also notice that there are other cars parked beside him.
@NakedInChurch, have you seen the video by misterepicman where he describes his car and what each gear stands for?
@Thinlizzy, I think he is making a joke that some people refer to police as "pigs."
As someone who's working on becoming a police officer this annoys me how people try to find the smallest things to try and make cops look bad. Yes they use the computer while they're driving. Because if they get a call about a highly dangerous situation going on, they need that computer to find out where the situation is going on. It's not like they're using it to text someone or check facebook. In fact I don't even think you can use those websites on those computers. They're strictly for business. There's a huge difference between "lol oh nothing just Omw to my bffs house" and a cop trying to find out the address of a homicide, burglary etc. sorry for the rant my friends.
@Zank Frappa, i thought the radio did that
@Spikeup12, the radio tells you where something is going on he's you're right but the computer gives you the gps system and its to let you know if the situation is going on in the area you're monitoring.
@Zank Frappa, honestly that's not the point whatsoever.
The point is not whether you're browsing facebook or looking up reports on a crime in progress, but the fact that you're driving distracted by electronics and I'm driving distracted by electronics but you the cop are going to give me a massively hypocritical ticket and then go back to your computer-operating while driving.
@Zank Frappa, I'm pretty sure that you can't drive and be on the computer at the same time. And also, he's parked in this picture.
@John Nash, If you watch the show COPS you'll see they do it all the time.
@Sabishii, Ok. I see what you're saying, but tell me, Who has more accidents? People texting while driving or cops just checking reports on their computer? I mean me personally the only time I've seen a cop come close to an accident by being too distracted by his computer was once and it wasn't even with a car. He just knocked down 3 construction cones. I'm not saying cops don't get into accidents because of this. Maybe you've heard of more. But I've heard more accident stories being caused by people being on their phones or texting. Cops are trained how to handle their cars. They're basically trained to become a professional driver.
@Sabishii, and just to clear a little air. I'm with my friend right now who's a cop and he says "we are rarely even on our computers. We only check them when there's a crime going on and we need to get to the location, or if we're behind a suspicious vehicle and we're checking the plates". Other than that we don't really use them at all while we're driving".
@Zank Frappa, Yeah, I was about to say this. Also, it's not as if whenever they do check their computers, they do it while going 70 mph down the highway or something. They're typically doing it when traffic is slow or they're at a red light. Cop critics are the most ignorant people next to hardcore feminists. Only 0.01% of cops are corrupt. Quit judging and disobeying people who do the same things our military does.
@Manlover, yeah what these people fail to realize is we can argue about cops having computers in their cars and being a distraction all we want but it's part of their jobs. Might as well give the UPS or FedEx man a ticket for using a GPS while trying to find out the location for a package he needs to deliver right?
@Zank Frappa, I have no problem with this, but I have seen many cops on their cellphones while driving around. I have also witnessed them flirting with teenagers and just sitting in their cars while the drug dealers are a couple of feet away. I need to move out of Jersey!
@LaDiabla, oh yeah trust me I've seen that too. That's when it really gets hypocritical. But there are some cops who shouldn't be on the job and some who should *shrugs* what can you do?.
@Zank Frappa, gl to you my friend
@Zank Frappa, amen. I fully support policemen, and the military for that matter. If you won't stand behind them, feel free to stand in front.
@The Nephalem, Id rather they didn't stand anywhere. I'd feel perfectly fine standing on my own.
@Sabishii, really? Because that seems to be the point of this picture. Yes there are some cops who are straight cvnts. But honestly, stop trying to find every little reason to berate and belittle them.
@The Nephalem, 100% agreed.
@IAmIcarus, you say that until a child gets kidnapped. I don't think you'll be the one playing hero.
@PVT Donut, thanks.
@Zank Frappa, yep. My department policy is no using computers while driving. We are liable for any accidents we cause. The County I work in has keyboards that lock above 5 mph
@Zank Frappa, why wouldn't I? Or any privatized company with the same resources as police for that matter
@IAmIcarus, then they would basically qualify for police. If that's what you consider them.
@P1ankton, that's a smart idea. And thanks for your service
@Zank Frappa, except they wouldn't be funded by the government. Thereby not requiring government funding or enforced taxation through traffic violations.
@IAmIcarus, well if you think you can manage keeping your town safe from criminals then more power to you man.
@Zank Frappa, except the state won't allow it. The county won't even allow it because there is a misconception that police are the only thing standing between us and fiery anarchistic hell. The thing standing between us and that are consequences, as long as those still exist everything will be ok.
@IAmIcarus, well I can't hate on someone who's deed is good so I guess you're right.
Damn lol lotta kids raging today, couldn't even be bothered to read the obvious slander and hypocritical junk flying here.
First of all, it's like****
Secondly, I'm gonna take a wild guess and say that he's not driving considering he has no hands on the steering wheel.
@nate930, and third, I'm pretty sure he's on the Dunkin Donuts website
A) hes parked
B) we rarely use those while driving
C) those computers are used to keep people safe
@fetus meatus, D)whats the ratio of cops to drivers, there are more people using phones than cops on laptops
That Emoji needs to be fed into a rice beater
But, he's in park. Not driving.
A repost from the ancient times, I believe
He can't pause an online game...
Cops suck dholee
Actually had a cop answer this question: they're exclusively trained how to use the computers while driving because they need it. "Zank Frappa" said it best with his comment though
Ok for once I actually agree with this picture. In this particular photo he may be parked, but I have seen a LOT driving down the road on their laptops or looking at them at a light
The likee is seriously bothering me.
I can't take this photo seriously when they put two E's at the end of Like. Likee this.
@Zank Frappa : " God I hate the police they suck" (car gets stolen) "hello, is this the police?"
Let the controversy begin....again
