As an American I made Kraft Mac and cheese for dinner last night so I can attest to this
Yeah but what about Alabama shrimp recipes. You know shrimps is the fruit of the sea. You can barbecue it, boil it, broil it, bake it, saute it. Dey's uh, shrimp-kabobs, shrimp creole, shrimp gumbo. Pan fried, deep fried, stir-fried. There's pineapple shrimp, lemon shrimp, coconut shrimp, pepper shrimp, shrimp soup, shrimp stew, shrimp salad, shrimp and potatoes, shrimp burger, shrimp sandwich. That- that's about it. So yeah, shrimps.
@TheCoolestBean, That’s nothing to Maryland recipes. Shrimp, crab, lobster, you name it we’ve done damn near everything to it to make it a meal.
@TheRatMan, well ya know who makes the best shrimps? Bubba-Gump Shrimp Co.
I will forever down vote this otherwise decent pic for just one reason: they use an X in “Latin_”. First off, for this case, “Latin” is just fine. For the case in which you have to gender it, oh my gosh just use the gender you know to be right in this case, which is Latino. Don’t try to get all PC about it. Just blame English for not gendering words. If you are gonna put an x at the end of every gendered word in Spanish, you wouldn’t be able to speak it to
@HammerOfHerertics, yeah, it doesn’t even makes sense because in Spanish the masculine suffix is already accepted as doubling as the gender-neutral suffix anyway, it’s mostly just English-speaking sjws who have a problem with it
@HammerOfHerertics, heh, I didn’t know this was a thing. I thought it was a typo or something and glossed over it until I noticed your comment.
@HammerOfHerertics, that is legit the only thing I noticed on this pic and it bothered me the whole time I kept reading.... I hate that term so much, there’s absolutely no reason to change an entire language’s grammatical structure to accommodate the feelings of a very small percentage of an already small segment of the population who could possibly feel excluded because they are “non-binary.”
@Block1187, exactly. Also, there’s no such thing as binary in the real world. Perhaps in their fantasy world. Or in the very sad cases of actual medical disorders where people’s chromosomes come out all screwed up
@HammerOfHerertics, oooooooo is that why they put the x. I thought it was a typo. Everytime I see it I think LatinEXTREME which makes me chuckle at least
@bigpapazero20four, nope...unfortunately it’s for far stupider and less cool reasons.
@Block1187, in the newest south park episode they sum up SJWs pretty well. Pretty much PC Principal has 5 PC babies, but they run off. They start going to places and crying whenever someone says something "offensive" and then whoever's in charge of the establishment changes it to shut them up. Then a guy walks up and says in a baby voice "Who's making a difference? You, yes you are."
They are literally a bunch of babies whining whenever someone says something "triggering," and getting their way.
@Duncan5769, This is what happens when you have bulldozer parents. Parents who remove all potential adversity from their child’s life which includes isolating them so they’re never bullied or meet mean kids. So instead of growing up and learning to deal with these things they have a mental breakdown when people start being mean or saying different things in the real world.
@HammerOfHerertics, I thought I was the only one who downvoted for that reason. Thank you, good sir.
@HammerOfHerertics, listen as a Latina person, I honestly couldn’t give a flying fûck. If people want to use an x, they can if not then don’t it honestly doesn’t matter to a lot of us Latinos.
@Johnny Karate, um I’m Latino too. That fact has nothing to do with it. Not do I claim any special right to decide on the wrongness of it. I’m calling it as it is, objectively: stupid.
@HammerOfHerertics, as a Mexican, this latinx crap annoys me in so many levels. Changing a language because you feel left out....
@HammerOfHerertics, I will never understand why when something that doesn’t affect someone is outside their norm they always seem to go immediately to hate. So many horrible things going on in this world and “latinx,” a MAYBE minor and temporary inconvenience that could help a society better accept people that, again, don’t have any affect on you by being who they are is the thing that causes people to downvote an entire post? Why is there so much hate? It’s one letter. The amount of merciless, over amped hate here is actually really saddening.
@abomb66, oh no there’s evil in the world so I can’t be angry at minor things...wait that doesn’t make sense. Also, it’s the principle of it that I hate. The fact that this long standing and grammatically correct way of saying something is now suddenly wrong and replaced with some nonsense to appease a small minority of crybabies who think “it’s the patriarchy man...”. That’s why I hate it. Notice how I use hate for the principle, not the people doing it.
@abomb66, how is this going to help accept people? It's ridiculous, changing a stablish language instead of using the proper descriptions. Also, it may seem like a minor inconvenience right now, but it is becoming more prominent. It's already on the Webster dictionary, more and more publications are using it. Just do a simple google search, and it is becoming the norm. The language is not oppressing people, they oppressed themselves, and then want to change it and expect others to follow. Trying to force this on people, is not much different than trying to force religion or veganism onto other people, just because it makes a group of people feel better.
@abomb66, Altering grammatical structures of entire languages to change cultural perceptions of long standing concepts like gender affects all of us. The irony of your comment about how we shouldn’t get angry about such minor things is completely displayed in the fact that a small minority of people getting angry about minor things is exactly why we are in this predicament in the first place. Changing the grammatical-gender structure of an entire language to appease an extraordinarily small part of the population that identifies outside of the literal biological classifications of our species is not only asinine, it is completely illogical. If upwards of 95 percent of a population clearly identifies as male or female, then in what world does it make sense to alter the language spoken by 100% of that population to reflect the desires of less than 5% of the population?
@abomb66, also, changing logical grammatical structures to reflect the self-given identities of illogical individuals is entirely illustrative of an ideology that values feelings over facts. Even most trans people identify as a binary-gender (the one opposite their biological sex), so the people we are talking about here (aside from the incredibly small portion of the population that has a chromosomal mutation resulting in an intersex anatomy) are just fruit cakes who want to be different and demand to not be confined by (biologically) imposed gender classifications.
Scottish recipe: fry it, batter it and fry it again
@Kayda, And shove it in a sheep stomach
Latvian recipes: no is potato, only rock
It’s funny because of the F word.
So if Latinx food can never be made as well as abuela, then does that mean that Latinx food has just gotten progressively worse throughout the history of mankind?

"Well, I mean...it worked."
What the fvck is a latinx?
@Velocitaptor, the sjws got offended when they noticed the Spanish language divides nouns and pronouns into the masculine and feminine. Now LatinO and LatinA are offensive, so they imposed their version of gender neutral latinx.
@JDPhi, But the term LATINOS includes all genders already though. This must be a white people thing.
@Velocitaptor, the sjws recently decided that an established linguistic standard in place for hundreds of years was contrary to their new found way of hating the world, so they had to invent a way to make an entire language look bad
Swedish: soak it in lye, then let it gellify.
The yelling into the void bit made me think of Yoko Ono screaming.
If the Lotr movies just came out a few years later, that potato scene could have been an all time great meme. What could’ve been
