@choogles, actually I’d say that this is the sort of positivity that should be encouraged in fandoms; it’s cute, non-preachy and amusing. It’s fairly creative, not an original idea, but the execution has left me with a smile and appreciation of Overwatch even if I don’t play it. You want cringe? Look up the shipping wars/ sexuality labelling in these fandoms. Hell, go look at Steven universe fandom. Also, let’s not forget the recent rick and morty fiasco with the sauce. These a things that ruin fandoms but this right here is what makes them amazing.

So when people do it with overwatch characters it's 'cute'. But when people do it with anime characters, it's 'weeb' and 'gay'. Just because it's a trap doesn't mean it should get hate, smh I hate these double standards.
