There's still a vast difference between Batman and Tony. While I'd definitely say Tony has the serious know how science wise, I'd say Bruce has more experience with tactics/strategy/mystery solving.
Think of it like saying a math professor is smarter than you. He's smarter than you... In math, but if you're majoring in Biology you're smarter in than the professor in that regard.
If you're smarter than your boss in your field, then why is he getting more pay than you? Who's the smart one now?
@Tentastic, tldr, Tony is an engineer and Bruce is a detective
@Tentastic, all you said, plus Batman's inventions are no joke either.
@Mantis Tobaggan, I mean tony stark kinda beats batman on inventions.
Tony was a professional weapons developer for
hands down Tony can out gun batman.
but batman would be able to make a strategy to combat iron man. question is how long it would take batman to do so
@Tentastic, oh I'm not saying that Batmans are as good, just that his tech is nothing to sneeze at
@Tentastic, Stark is purely tech based so ofc his tech is better
@Tentastic, yes but Tony’s they type of guy that would say he’s smarter than you anyways
@Mantis Tobaggan, Tony would win in terms of sheer power, Bruce in terms of strategy and hand-to-hand/combative technique and strategy
@Prince super Vegeta , ah arrogance. Batman would have a ton of fun beating Tony. I'm guessing he'd target Tony's psyche, which has put Tony in a losing positions before.
@Tentastic, they’re both geniuses but Batman’s intellect is in detective work like u said but still Tony is definitely smarter Spider-Man is also a genius but robin isn’t and Spider-Man is way stronger then all of them he’s also faster and much more agile and a very skilled fighter so in a 2v2 is definitely pick tony and peter
@Mantis Tobaggan, what did batman invent I thought he bought all of his gadgets whereas tony built them all
@bobbylupo, that's movie Batman builds most of his tech, a lot of it doesn't exist so he can't just buy it. Off the top of my head:
His main bat suit that is completely electrified to prevent people getting his mask off, also he can add the electricity to his punches, among other stuff.
Super heated gloves to help with mr freeze
Countless specialized weapons and tools for his foes, as well as his friends
Batarangs including Emp, grenade, taser, camera, etc.
He doesn't just buy it lol, that's movie Batman that you're thinking of.
@bobbylupo, nah man Tentastic was right, we can't really say who is more intelligent because the fields they work in are way too different. Batman is definitely better with strategy, detective work, and chemistry, for example.
@bobbylupo, it sounds like you just watched movies.
Spiderman is smart yes, but in the current marvel universe instead of just getting powers by being bitten he's also inventing his own tech. Spidey had a massive revamp for the mcu.
But, let's say we are going the most op batman robin vs tony and spidey.
You'd be right to pick Mcu Tony and Spidey when just comparing power levels.
But for Batman and Robin- first we assume original Robin (Dick Grayson). I wouldn't say he'd be the best Robin to choose (Tim and Damien were more advanced in better aspects), but let's just go with original Robin like we're going with the first Spiderman.
Both Bruce/Dick are skilled detectives. Robin excels in coding/cs skills and acrobatics over batman, while Batman has more money, equipment, and brain.
If they knew what they were getting into, hands down Batman/Robin would win. Even just Batman. Why? His Contingency plans.
If you didn't know about those plans, I see why you chose Tony/Spidey
@Mantis Tobaggan, yes but for overall iq Tony’s is most likely higher
@bobbylupo, lol, I doubt it is much, if at all, but alright
@Mantis Tobaggan, It depends which universe we're talking about too. Because in the Dark Knight trilogy Lucius Fox makes most of his gear.
@Emp4th, yeah for sure, I was meaning in general he makes his own in most mediums
@Tentastic, I know batman has a contingency plan for everything that’s basically batman fans way of saying he’d never lose but Unless he has prior knowledge of Spider-Man’s spidey sense which I can’t see how he could even by watching him then he wouldn’t be able to counter act it and I don’t see him landing a single blow on him Spider-Man is way faster and he’s maybe even a more skilled fighter he learned under Shang chi I believe and invent his own style the way of the spider plus it’s been said that if Spider-Man ever actually hit someone as hard as he could he would tear them in half so unless batman brings the hellbat suit which I dont think he will cause he probably wouldn’t think he needs it then one shot and he’s done
@bobbylupo, I agree simply relying on contingency plans as an argument is pretty daft, but that wasn't my point.
I don't disagree with the qualities you've brought up about Spiderman. You're back to talking solely about physical characteristics and traits. For all you know you could be talking about how big of a sword you have while someone else has a gun.
I never said that Batman was better in every single aspect that you bring up. My entire point has been even if people aren't better in every aspect, they can still come out on top.
Batman has lost to many villains he's faced before. And in almost every situation, he wasn't aware of the fight he would be getting into.
From what you've seen of Christian Bale, he's failed to both Joker and Bane, where Joker made Batman choose Harvey and Bane broke Batman's back.
So I bring back my main point: If they were aware of the others existence, Batman would have a plan to counteract them both.
But if it were a sudden fight, Id say Tony.
Dont dare compare robin to spiderman. Spiderman is way greater than his powers.
@ThePandaPool , for real, I love Robin but they aren't comparable, and Spider-Man isn't a side kick
The most powerful of them all.
My top favorite Spider-Man , Anti Hero’s Deadpool and Taskmaster
