@Waskly wabbit, nice
So where is the reason men shouldn't write advice columns??
"Low delivery pressure from fuel injector"
...could be an enlarged prostate.
@Empshok, it's low delivery pressure from the pump to the injectors. If your injectors are feeding the pump, you have a really weird issue that I think only a priest can fix.
@50SEVEN, *feels a gust of wind go over his head* huh...I wonder what that was.
@50SEVEN, the fuel pressure regulator could cause poor pressure from the injectors, or the injectors could be clogged.
@CrazyRightWinger, No, a regulator would not cause pressure from the injectors. The fuel injectors are the last component. it the injection aystem. The fuel pump pressurizes the fuel rails to a pressure regulates by the regulator. The pressure in the lines forces the fuel through the injectors when the solenoid is opened.
A bad regulator would cause insufficient pressure in the rails or too high of a pressure in the rails.
@50SEVEN, I got what you are saying but you are talking on a very specific level. If you said low pressure from the injectors, you are just generically saying there is an issue with the fuel system.
@50SEVEN, You could have a bad pump that strains to build the proper operating pressure. The odds of all 4 (Or more) injectors getting clogged to the point that the car stalls is very unlikely, and if it did happen, you would have major drivabikity issues long before you got to this point. There could be a bad MAF or MAP sensors that are giving incorrect air intake readings to the computer causing it to run rich or lean. Or a bad crank or camshaft sensor causing the computer to not be able to accurately assess the timing and thus causing it to go into a limp mode to prevent catastrophic damage
@CrazyRightWinger, Yeah, I guess. Sorry, but cars are literally the center of my life, literally. I tend to get caught up in this stuff. I wasn't trying to argue.with you or anything.
@50SEVEN, I was making a euphamism about a penis. How did it turn into this?
So what I learned is don't buy your wife a Chrysler
@CrazyRightWinger, don't buy a Chrysler, period.
Well, if the car worked, she wouldn’t have any of the other problems.
