I've gotten to the point where I dont trust rotten tomatoes anymore. They try to influence the scores, and that destroys their credibility.
@ThePandaPool , That and critic scores do nothing to tell me whether or not it'll be a good movie.
@DandyZombie35, Godzilla king of the monsters got like a 48% because “there was too much monster and not enough human drama” so yeah rotten tomatoes is dumb
@ThePandaPool , I've watched movies that are rated like 20 percent that I actually liked a lot, so I dont even bother with them
@nemestrinus , that comment gave me a legitimate laugh. Yea. I'm done with them.
@nemestrinus , Right? That's what we're here for!
Also my favorite movie was supposedly a critical flop so there's that lol.
@nemestrinus , yeah, at the time i watched it it had a critic score of 40% (the one they show on google) and an audience score of 88%. Either way i really enjoyed it
@ThePandaPool , I only use IMDb and Cinemos. Sometimes Metacritic, but only sometimes.
@nemestrinus , Kim possible live action currently sits at 100% on rotten tomatoes, where is your God now
@ThePandaPool , rotten tomatoes is rotten
@nemestrinus , “this monster battle movie is too much monster battle and not enough pure exposition!” -said the old decaying husk of a man working at rotten tomatoes
@nemestrinus , um, isnt that the critics fault, not the site? Rotten tomatoes is just the platform for their reviews isnt it?
@theshadosnipe, RT has implemented several strategies, as a business, with the clear eye of interfering with the results of movies for an ideological motive. Look at how they handled movies like Captain Marvel, the Ghostbusters remake, and Oceans 8.
Maybe he’s a little dead inside?
It's just really good makeup.
