Metal heads are honestly some of the most chill, friendly people I've met
@FrenchtieBowfry, true...very polite and surprisingly educated...
@FrenchtieBowfry, I always think about how much more chill I would be if I smoked weed
@Rattlehead Vision, me too. Everyday
@FrenchtieBowfry, you could say that about every group if you're the right kind of person
@lakewood20, not about thugs, and badboys. Definatly not weaboos and feminists, or bronies and furries. And most groups that originate from the internet.
@NunuGod, why not? If you got to know them, I'm sure they'd be fine
@FrenchtieBowfry, Metalheads are just about the music. I should know. I am one.
@NunuGod, wait if I'm a metal head and a brony, am I chill or not? Oh god I'm having an identity crisis
@FrenchtieBowfry, I take offense. I'm dark and brutal and ain't got no sense of humor.
I'm metal. Because not being metal is dildos.
@Hotchkiz, what about metal dildos?
@Hotchkiz, "I'm nots dildos, yous ams dildos!"
@Dr Mechanoid, pffft. your mother ams dildos. ha.
@copdeeznutz, yours mothers ams ares mores dildos
@Batistas Bomb, stops copys me!
At concerts it feels like a family. If you fall down in a mosh pit, complete strangers will block everyone from getting pushed towards you and help you up. It's great.
@Radioactive ovaries, then there's the fat drunk guy who knows he can't be moved so he's a douche in the pit
@Rattlehead Vision, or that one guy who can't handle his drink in general and spills his beer on 8 people
@Radioactive ovaries, pit ninjas, muff said
my head is made of metal and I can confirm
Why are people so negative to a Ninja Turtles villain
Yea, this is true
Hanging out with one metal head is cool but I cant get down with a group because you start to realize it's like the same two people over and over again
As someone who listens to a lot of metal (admittedly more stoner metal than anything else) this is very true, I was in the middle of a castle decapitation album and looked to my friend and said that I want a costume for a Corgi that is a mogwai from Gremlins
@Eriksnyder11, cattle decap and chill
@Rattlehead Vision, nah, I was in school at that time, but one time I did do do nothing but listen to Clutch with a girlfriend of mine for a while, the best date I've ever had.
@Eriksnyder11, the most I get my girl to listen to is halestorm and nightwish but it's something 😊
@Rattlehead Vision, yeah man, no one I've ever dated was about to deal with anything real heavy (especially my death metal preferences in like Abominable Putridity and Ingested)
@Eriksnyder11, that's why I have bandmates. Our guitarist thought it would be good to do album of the week and our singer always picks the most interesting choices
@Rattlehead Vision, like what? I know some of the stuff I've been listening to recently has been like Kylesa's "Exhausting Fire", Clutch's " From Beale Street to Oblivion "; and for nerds out there; Darkest of the Hillside Thickets' " The Great Old Ones ".
@Eriksnyder11, masstaden by vildjaharta, totalitarian dystopia by acrania, Geneva by Russian circles and soulless hymns by last ten seconds of life to name a few
@Rattlehead Vision, those are very out there. It's sad though for me, since I'm still a teen, I don't know very many people, and therefore, it's hard to have compelling conversations about music; especially metal; with people who are covered in pop and rap music, and aren't willing to go outside of their comfort zones.
@Eriksnyder11, oddly enough, I grew up listening to Will Smith and country music. Then 6th grade came around and I found acdc which then created the musical storm that follows me to this day
@Rattlehead Vision, Yeah man, I kinda know that feeling, when I was really young, I hated metal with a passion, I thought it was garbage, then one summer day, I turned on Lamb of God's "Ashes of the Wake", and caught a glimpse on what was to come for me.
@Eriksnyder11, guitar hero helped a lot with finding new stuff as well
@Rattlehead Vision, see I really didn't have a play to Guitar Hero until this year, but for me Spotify has been a lifesaver.
@Eriksnyder11, nice 😎
I haven't really caught on with streaming yet.
@Rattlehead Vision, I like it just because it's free, and has almost every album I could want to listen to, but I'm hoping to build up my CD collection sometime in the near future.
@Eriksnyder11, I've got 1234 albums on iTunes/11683 songs. 600 of which I have on actual CD
@Rattlehead Vision, Jesus, I have 6 albums on CD, my greatest ones being Scar Symmetry's "Holographic Universe, and The Sword's " High Country "
@Eriksnyder11, I have all of the awards albums
I have a problem, someone please stop me
@Rattlehead Vision, All of the Swords?
@Eriksnyder11, yes. Fücking auto correct
@Rattlehead Vision, ooh my god, I love The Sword so much, one of my friends for me "High Country" for Christmas, and I've been hunting the rest of their albums for a bit now.
@Eriksnyder11, I usually swap albums with my buddy. He's always getting stuff
@Rattlehead Vision, That would be awesome if my friends listened to more of the same stuff that I do
@Eriksnyder11, community college really showed me how many metalheads there are. Soooo many friends to mosh with
@Rattlehead Vision, That's actually really encouraging, especially with the fact that I play a lot of Magic and all that, and I've heard from a bunch of people that college is when finding people with similar interests becomes easier
@Eriksnyder11, definitely. The student lounge was always full of people playing magic and other strategy based card games
@Rattlehead Vision, Metal and gaming go really well together
You cannot kill the metal
@Captain Canine, the metal will live on
@Rattlehead Vision, Punk rock tried to kill the metal...
@Breadbeard, but they failed as they were thrown to the ground
Gonna go on a mild rant here: I really think people should understand what the song is about before they judge it. Some of the heaviest music I listen to is incredibly deep and actually talks about facing and overcoming the flaws within ourselves and overcoming the challenges faced in life, it's a shame to me how some of the really popular music nowadays is so shallow and focuses on partying and getting drunk or breaking up with some boyfriend or girlfriend and thinking the reason it didn't work out is some minor issue when they are too blind and ignorant to see the real problems within the relationship. I'm done ranting for now, please have a nice day.
Joel from vinesauce anyone?
I'll just stick to my salsa and merengue music
The same can be said about any genre
*ahem* ANNOINT MY PHALLUS WITH THE BLOOD OF THE FALLEN!
It's about the underwater friends!
