I'm not seeing the funny here.
@Weird Porn Stash, it makes more sensr when you realize they're friends and just trying to be dumb on twitter. Mayer posted a picture later that was just the water with everything photoshopped out.
@Fight Club, it also helps if you know who these people are. Unlike me. I don’t know these people, are the famous?
I'm all for paying for work that is done... but 400 seems a bit steep.
@ArchangelForcas, when paying artists for their work, you're not just paying for the finished product, but for their time, the materials, their training, and their usually many iterations of a design. It can take several hours to produce one 'simple' image. Source, I'm currently going to school for Art and game design.
@ArchangelForcas, I mean for 400 dollars that picture better have been of a obese person at Walmart before he edited it.
@Lettrebag, I'm just saying I know ton of people that create amazing pieces of art bare handed and only charge a a fraction of that price. That picture just seems too life like, so I'm guessing it's real pictures. And then it just seems like its cropped together.
@ArchangelForcas, so if you look it up, this is a bromance thing between John Mayer and Diplo. It wasn't a serious thing.
@jayne cobb, alright. But that doesn't change the fact that stuff like this happens still.
@Janky McSkanky, they’re buddies, it’s all love.
@prxjxct, ah, my mistake
Not paying is a dick move of course, but shouldn’t price be set before the work begins? Or is it too difficult to calculate until after the job is complete?
