They do their own thing
For anyone who liked this book and is thinking of watching. Don't. It was painful. There is absolutely no character development, no stakes, no Artemis Fowl. This has less to do with the book its based on than Eragon and its not even close. It actually made me reread the book to cleanse my soul. I can't believe how sloppy and choppy everything in this movie was.
@Simply Slytherin , thank you for your sacrifice. Youre a real hero
@Simply Slytherin , what if we didn't read the book? Is it still so terrible?
@ThePandaPool , absolutely.
Think of it this way: without prior knowledge/ reading the film is shjte, such shjteness is multiplied by the book knowledge for every point they get wrong.
@ThePandaPool , yeah its pretty bad on its own as well
@Samblob, Oh so it's like a Last Airbender situation.
@Simply Slytherin , what is this
@Simply Slytherin , I like how Eragon is the gold standard for the movie not even remotely close to the books
@Simply Slytherin , I can't believe they looked at the incredibly best selling book where the main character is a bad guy, and thought, "eh, this probably won't do well. Let's change absolutely everything." My only hope now is that they don't screw up Percy Jackson again.
@Holyblender, Earagon, Avatar: Shiitonthefranchise Amaladingong edition, Dragon Ball Evolution etc. They all gave the same thing in common with this movie. They are all horrible movies with 0 respect for their source material.
@Simply Slytherin , I saw it, I thought it was pretty good
@Landrover, im glad you enjoyed it.
@LaDarkProphet, it’s funny because Marvel only got it right when they did iron man which was so close the the source material. Everyone else out there making Spider-Man’s webs come from his arm or making Nightcrawler anything but the devilishly charming character he is. No. For Tony Stark they hired an alcoholic. That’s how you do it. Change the war, fine. Keep the story. It didn’t even matter how bad the first movie’s villain was because they got the character right and his story arc.
@Simply Slytherin , my wife and I did the same thing. The troll fight, and how it becomes a running gag for the LEP close combat curriculum is great! "Is that...?" "The human that beat a troll half to death in single combat? Yup."
@LaDarkProphet, kinda like the Last Jedi, huh?
*runs away laughing maniacally*
Disney shíts on book readers?
@GFDOOM, they take beloved franchises like Artemis Fowl and abort a creation of pure greed and villany
@The Landshark , god those books were fvcking good. I didnt even bother looking at the show though. We all knew where that was going
Disney assumes no one reads. They were
sh’ting on moviegoers. “It’s Disney, people will buy.”
Why is Macho Man Randy Savage stretching his jaw like he’s a dragon in Skyrim?
What the hell is this from??
@megamanx181x, The new Artemis Fowl movie. Its trash. Objective pure and utter trash
@LaDarkProphet, this clip alone justifies it
