Disney didnt make avatar, and im pretty sure they only have rights for theme park purposes
@K1l, you’re right they didn’t make it and have the rights for the park but since they bought out Fox it’s now fully theirs
Still worth seeing endgame over and over
Unpopular opinion, Avatar deserves the number one spot more then Endgame
@Quency200, People give Avatar a loooot of sh*t, but it’s a true achievement in terms of visual effects and 3D films. It was an event, and I don’t think many who criticize it have watched it lately. It does have issues, and it’s not wholly original in it’s storytelling, but it absolutely is in it’s world building, and is a totally enjoyable experience.
@Jordanv, it justified the 3d film, but it's the only one that has that I've seen
@InsaneAnimeCleavage, The only other movie I can say you have to see in 3D is “Gravity”. Man, what an experience. You have to make a movie with the intention of it being 3D from the get-go. Most studios never, ever do that.
@Jordanv, I like to drop acid and watch Avatar. It’s one of the best trip movies.
@Jordanv, There's soooo much lore that the movie didn't show us
@FalconHalo, For sure, but I don’t think the movie suffers for it. I’m cautiously excited for the sequels. They could be amazing and visual jaw-dropping, but Cameron may be getting too full of himself. Ridley Scott got high on his own juice making this Alien prequel trilogy, and has only produced decent results; Nothing amazing.
@Jordanv, I would also now add godzilla King of the monsters as a big screen experience
@Quency200, Why you always lying?
@Shodai Hokage, by telling the truth
@Quency200, key words "Unpopular Opinion", but damn your opinion sucks lol
@Shodai Hokage, that’s just like, you opinion man
@Quency200, well not to be that guy but accounting for inflation (which you abso-fvcking-lutely should), Gone With the Wind is still the highest grossing movie of all time. And I'm sure if you also take into account ticket sales and population and such the margin between that and other films will only increase.
@Quency200, Avatar was a technical masterpiece. But the story was lacking and unoriginal. Endgame is also a technical masterpiece, and is also something we've never seen in Cinema before. While neither are the "best movie" ever, I don't think one deserves the top spot more than the other.
