Divergent Ends Hunger Games
Katniss is wayyyy better than Tris
@Nyota Uhura spock, tris got herself killed in an easily avoidable way
@Nyota Uhura spock, agreed, but both are still badass
@Manatee be me, spoiler, I haven't finished reading the trilogy yet. Oh well, kinda figured she'd die at the end anyway.
@Meowstic, oops sorry it slipped my mind that people haven't finished and stuff. So sorry
@Manatee be me, it's fine. As soon as she chose dauntless I figured she'd die at the end :P
That's not exactly how Hunger Games went.
Actually, between the two book series, divergent was more about the love interests than the hunger games was
It was a ridiculous premise, poorly done.
I seriously have no idea what is going on in this one.
@GrandCarnifex, they're trying to say that Katniss spent the whole series worrying about peeta and then divergent was all about actually fighting. Which was not all that true.
Still a better love story than twilight...
Screw divergent! Hunger games will always be better
At least Katniss acted as an individual while Tris just followed everyone's actions like a lost puply
Kurosaki-kun! STFU ORIHIME
@Devtyro, but... It's not the same thing. _ This post has me confused.
@GrandCarnifex, was talking about the "peeta peeta peeta" dunno if you've ever watched a anime called bleach but the Japanese voices orihime says kurosaki-kun a good 20 times in all the episodes she's in
@Devtyro, ah. True. Agreed. Touché, sir!
*Yells from fangirl shelter*
Your movie sucked, Tris!
The only people who obsess about anyone in those books are Finnick and Gale. Finnick because he only has a handful of people he genuinely loves. Gale because he thinks he's entitled to Katniss's affections despite Katniss making it clear that there are more important things to deal with.
I don't know what this is trying to show, but I love the Divergent series
The Hunger Games was about a teenage girl fighting for her, and the people around her's life and standing up to a corrupt government in the books. Our media did in the movies exactly what the Capital did in the books, make it all about the love triangle.
@TheDoctorsDaughter, Actually, only the fandom did that. The films and even the marketing focused on her as a survivor.
And I don't care for either...
So they are trying to exaggerate the fact that hunger games has realistic characters?
The teenage girl references are strong in this one
