DMV is greedy!
My truck, a 2006 titan which i drive at most 300 miles a year is costing me $220 a year in registration. My 2018 sedan which i drive over 22k miles a year is costing me $240 a year in registration.....and the roads are still crap. I hate California
@Dknessfalls, I here there is a mass exodus in cali. Everyone leaving to other states. I dont mind as long as you font vote like you do that made Cali the way it is now. Cuz Austin has changed over the years thanks to it being a lil Cali. They got a major homeless problem now its starting to turn into Los Angelos.
@BexarMinimum, there is a max exit from a lot of ppl. Unfortunately since most of my family is here, i doubt ill be leaving. All i can do is find any way possible to avoid paying taxes on funds that are not going to where they need to go
@Dknessfalls, bro what.... in Pennsylvania I pay maybe 1/2 of that for registration, that's insane to me. PA has the #1 worst roads in the country as a state (think CA quality roads but now add regular winters with a constant freeze/thaw cycle throughout), we have the highest gasoline tax as well, but outside of those things, it honestly isn't a terrible state to be in
@Dknessfalls, my dads 2003 Dodge Ram used to cost him 300 in Cali. Now that it’s here in Texas it’s like $80 at most. So yeah Cali sucks
@Dknessfalls, that’s what you get for living in Commifornia
@PotatoFinger, well i was born here so....
@Dknessfalls, I pay over $1000 a year in insurance on a vehicle so I don’t even understand
@DaRealMVP, between my truck and sedan, i pay about $3600 a year. Had my license for 18 years with only 1 incident
@Dknessfalls, did you mean$220 a month then? Cause you said 220 a year
@DaRealMVP, dmv registration is $220 a year
@Dknessfalls, been to LA? Lol. Ive got so many claims against the city. Some for damage to rims, others for trash hitting my vehicle and the list goes on. Caltrans has a responsibility. If your car is damaged due to their lack of proffesionalism, then they have to pay for damages.
This hurts because I just paid to renew my tabs this morning... I have one car and paid $162. I feel bad for people that have more than one car when it's renewal time.
@Runed Ram, it’s only like $40 here in Tennessee.
@3d2y, I hate you and envy you at the same time, Godspeed brother.
@3d2y, there we go! Tennessee represent!
@3d2y, I'm in Tennessee as well. But mine are even cheaper. Military tags! :D
@Runed Ram, I would say if you have multiple and they all fall on the same month.
@3d2y, I just paid $25 here in Arkansas
@Runed Ram, 3 cars, two being sports cars, in alabama was $90 lol
My 06 GTO: 120 bucks I can live with. My 15 VW Golf R is over 320 bucks ugh.
@megamanx181x, whaaat? Move to Tennessee bro! I pay $64 a year in Knoxville! Which is good bc I have five vehicles...Screw that man. What is the benefit on living in Cali? Earthquakes, fires, mudslides, expensive AF
@seeUpee, all those disasters are worst for the people living in the sticks. I like all the different things I can do and my family is here.
@seeUpee, I’m working on leaving California and moving the family to Virginia.
@Sir Borksalot , smart man! Wish you the best of luck for you and the family!
@seeUpee, but the upside of Ca...
some hot babes and tasty waves.
700+ for 2017 Grand Cherokee in Denver...
I haven't caught up with anything in my entire life I am so trying to find out this dabbing thing is
~$80 in ND
Had to pay $204 for registration, then $90 in late fees
Tbh I’ve just been driving my Chevy the last 9 years or so without registration, license plate, insurance, or brakes. Seems to be working fine so far
This got me in august, i was shocked i had money at end of the month. Forgot to change address with dmv when i moved. Tags were due 3 weeks before i clicked in my brain.
