@KremlinFoolery, There’s nothing wrong with joking around with your parents as long as it’s done in good humor and both sides know it up front. There’s a difference between insulting someone and disrespecting someone. That’s just my opinion though as this is how I joke around with my family and none of us take it even remotely serious.

@Darth Panserbjorne, For my dad insults only work either as a comeback or when playing boardgames or card games. If I attempt at any other time i'm rolling the dice.

@George Feeny, I agree with what you’re saying, and I think that that’s the ideal situation, but either of my parents would have bashed my teeth out for calling them stupid in any context. They honestly probably still would, and I’m an adult, now, so....
