So I was at a bowling alley watching some dude throw strike after strike meanwhile I struggled and rubbed my thumb raw on that hole thing. I asked his secret and he said not to use the holes at all, but rather hold the ball with both hands, so you can get more spin on it. Honestly changed my life, thought I should share
@Oh so cherry, I haven’t been bowling in a long time but when I do again I will try this. Thanks for sharing
@Oh so cherry, me to, gonna try it and hopefully not throw the ball weird and dent the floor in and get kicked out but it will be fun either way
@Dephenistrator, blame the guy next to you and plead the fifth! I just know it’s going to be a gutter ball thru out the whole game in my case.
@seeUpee, I'll give the idea a roll. If it doesn't work, I can always split so i don't end up in the gutter!
I'm sorry, I'm sleepy
@Dephenistrator, you are? You aren’t working third shift still with the new job right? I’m sick today so I’m off!!! Have the flu or something... (damn it China!)
@seeUpee, well i haven't started the new job yet but it's gonna be nearly the same hours. I gotta work opposite my wifes day shift so we can tag team the little guy.
Hey i hope is just the flu, sorry your sick. I hear it's not really that bad unless your diabetic or otherwise have something major compromised
@Dephenistrator, went to the doctor just now. Is the flu type B... about to go pick some tamiflu to take... which means I will not work tomorrow either... soooo yeah, boooooo. Spent all morning on the phone directing pretty much but got everything under control even tho my anxiety spiked up bc I had to cancel on a guy but he was really cool about it.
That is really good you can tag team. Daycare is expensive. Save you some good money there! But you can use it on your taxes and they learn so much at daycare! Have a two and a half year old nephew, his vocabulary is remarkable. If money is good try to send him to one, maybe not full time but will give the wife some time to relax... happy wife, happy life... so they say
@seeUpee, yes, an angry wife goes out of her way to make sure your not happy if she's not. Me and my wife have mild tempers though and have rarely had fights.
Well I'm glad you had a chill client, so just enjoy laying around for a day or two and make sure to get yourself better. Just remember, when you beat an illness, your body is kicking the ass of thousands of microscopic attackers a minute! That's alot of kick ass
@Dephenistrator, that is awesome you rarely have fights! Glad you put a ring on that! Right now I’m trying to make my gf cook more. It is pretty much the only thing we fight about. She refuses to learn and even take classes which pisses me off. She seriously burns water. Guess my mom raised my standard for homemade cooking and has rubbed off on me. I want my future kids to eat well and not all this processed food like chicken nuggets that all kids now days love(no offense intended if your kid loves them)
ahahahah I remember you said something close when I had the nose infection a while back and had a a lot of drainage. Thank man!
@seeUpee, XD yeah, i guess i say that alot and i forgot who I've said it to.
I would love for me my wife and kid to eat better but i knew i married someone who didn't really cook at all and I burn everything that isn't scrambled eggs (i can somehow make great scrambled eggs and everyone says they aren't like normal scrambled eggs. I kinda spatula them like a burger patty so i call them scrambled patties) but anyways, my mom gave me low expectations so i guess that's why i didn't expect much myself. My grandmothers meatloaf though, holy bbqed cow!
@Dephenistrator, oh man, that is the complete opposite from me. And you brought grandmothers into this! Mine lived with us back before we came here. She was the absolute best! My great aunt would come and visit from time to time. Both 100% Italian, they would make pasta and let it dry in our living room. I would come home from school and open up that door and just the whole house smelled like pasta. Probably one of the things that I miss the most from my childhood that will never ever happen again. Food was really important back then, grew up very family oriented and everyone would gather around to eat. When you had company over it was nothing but the best, you would go out if your way to give them something special to eat. Then I come here and friends give me pizza. It was a big cultural crash. Is just something I could not explain we’ll how it wasThere is nothing wrong on how it is here, just different. Food is the #1 thing I miss the most. After living here for so long I have gotten
@Dephenistrator, used to it I suppose. My mother is the best cook I know, she can make anything and legit. Not like the Italian restaurants here, very Americanized, that is not what a lasagna is suppose to truly taste like. Out of all my siblings I am probably the one that took up cooking, I wanted to learn all that I could. To be honest I wanted to learn bc once she is gone I will not have anyone to make me these authentic dishes that I love so much as a kid. I don’t know man, I just wanted to find someone that really knew how to cook. Not that it is the deciding factor bc all things aside I can really care less if she knows how to cook as long as she makes me happy. The thing thatbothers me is the lack there of to learn to cook. At least you try with the scramble eggs and you are clearly proud of them, that is a skill!!! I cook food for my friends all the time, some plates aren’t Americanized and they don’t like them but others they do. It’s been a challenge but I really do not want
@Dephenistrator, to keep these recipes alive. Guess in the end my mom really did raise the cooking bar high. My birthday is coming up at the end of the month and we always gather at my folks for all major events as this one. My mom asked me last week what I wanted... I told her to surprise me. My girl and I all boils down to 90% of our fights (not that we fight much, we get along great) about food. I know is silly, totally stupid... but that is how I am I guess. We will see what happens.
@seeUpee, wow, that is very different and it sounds awesome! From my perspective of not having cooking skills, i see treating a group gathering instead by paying for olive garden or something like that. There's greek place here thats a single restaurant called Voulas also owned by voula and her family. She makes omelette meals with the hashbrowns and all the sides inside this giant omelet and it's a delicious nearly football sized omelet! We go there sometimes with my wife's grandma or parents. For my bday i choose red lobster because i love seafood and we never get it because i am the only one in both our families that loves crab and shrimp
@Dephenistrator, ahaha no one likes it but you? But you are right there to the ocean! I looove red lobster. But only when they do the endless shrimp!
@seeUpee, i had that endless shrimp for my last birthday and it was great! My in laws were trying to guess how many plates i would go through i you bet i made them all feel dàmn wrong!
@Dephenistrator, dude it is like the best! That shrimp scampi! Oooooooh man! I can eat! They get tired of bringing me plates
He didn't say Nani?!
The ball wants it...
