It is fuggin annoying. I use cast iron pans, and heat em to the smoke point after washing them out, and half the time the ceiling bitch has to chime in and whine about it!

@Mawaneu, you can. But you have to make sure to dry it extremely well afterwards to prevent rust. That being said if you season it properly there’s better ways to clean it.

@TheGreatPwn, and you need to put vegetable oil on it. But usually you don’t wash it because then you just don’t get the amazing flavor you had from previous meals.
@Mawaneu, yup you're right. By wash I mean just wipe or rinse it out with plain water a bit. My favorite cookware by far! Can do eggs just as well as a nonstick at this point.
My apartment has its fire alarm A. Wired right outside the bathroom door and B. An air density sensor instead of a carbon monoxide sensor. So guess who can't leave his bathroom door open after taking a shower to air it out and prevent mold building up?
