*drops acid* and now I get to go on two adventures at once!
@stuckInThePresent, I did that about a week ago and now I'm pretty sure I've reached a constant state of nirvana
@Jim Carrey Acolyte, you dropped acid or dropped acid while going through mental illness?
@stuckInThePresent, I've done both! Losing my sanity slowly even though it was a year ago that I dropped acid :)
@stuckInThePresent, well before I dropped the acid I suffered from bipolar disorder so yea. Now what I have can only be described as constant ego death. My anxiety is gone, my depression is gone, my mania is gone. All that's left is peace and an uncanny ability to do exactly what I need to exactly when I need to.
@Jim Carrey Acolyte, like for real, since that trip I've gotten a girlfriend, gotten my dream job, started the proceedings to buy a house, saw a dead body, and led 4 of my closest friends through an acid trip that changed their lives. All in a matter of a couple weeks. Shjt changed my life.
@Jim Carrey Acolyte, nice dude, glad you did it in a fun way that didn't freak you out. Now it's time to start saving for a life, oh and if you can put some money aside in crypto. From one traveler to another - It'll do you well.
@stuckInThePresent, really? I actually was just presented with an opportunity to do such a thing but I wasn't sure. What an incredible sign.
@Jim Carrey Acolyte, heck yeah, it's gonna be booming. Also will say it's a lot of fun to see all the different ones out there for yourself, but if you have someone showing you the good ones even better. Enjoy the money while it's still practically free
@Jim Carrey Acolyte, that’s awesome man, way to-......A DEAD BODY?! (I like how he just slips that in there)
@Pubmarine Shamwich, hey man you don't realise just how mortal you are until you've witnessed it for yourself while under the influence of an ego death. I cried for someone I didn't know and I felt alive.
I can't go anywhere with this crippling depression
@Midnite St0rm, Except the deep depths of sorrow and the very fringes of sanity. Those places are full of interesting corners to explore.
As a person with mental illness I can confirm it's all kinds of adventures
I have Borderline Personality Disorder, and my husband has Bipolar disorder. I've got some fantastic stories
@mattswife, *says a prayer for you, wishes you luck, sends you a pillar to hold you two up when things are shakey and a rock for you to lean on.*
So was Bilbo Baggins mentally ill during his incredible journey?
Furiously Happy is a book by Jenny Lawson about mental illness and adventures. I recommend it.
I get to be upvote number 50!
