The entire “Office” series in a nutshell
That was me when I worked at a tool store. I knew nothing about fools and I had the work ethic of a rock.
@AceWolf456, how can you know nothing about fools if you were clearly hired by one?
My job is hurting for bodies and I'm convinced that if you just show up you get the job, cause we've had essentially homeless people get a job there. They then get fired a month later cause they have no work ethic, no sense of time, and no way to contact them
@GonMoose the Great, when i worked at ups i overheard a phone call my boss made out on the floor hiring someone straight out of prison. We had a 110% dropout rate that year
Stupidity loves company
I had a coworker let the garbage build up for four hours in a hospital, six departments including surgery complained they couldn't even open the soiled room doors anymore because they were full and my boss caught him red handed playing on his phone in a waiting room. He was sent home for the day, then came back. Did it almost every day since. He'll never get in serious trouble, he could kill someone there and still have his job
@Dephenistrator, the "janitor" at my work does next to nothing all day. At least not for the company...most of his day is spent sorting scrap metal from the parts we replace...and the 5% of the day he spends actually working is spent cleaning up at the end of the day...which consists mainly of him telling the other janitor to do it..he is useless...and has even even arrested on the job for selling drugs...its fvcking stupid that this lazy piece of shjt is allowed to have a job here
@Dephenistrator, I’m a Key holder at a store, and one of my coworkers (he’s fired now finally) would constantly tell me not to talk to him and would disregard what I tell him to do. He would throw tantrums and complain to customers. He got so bad where he was threatening me that he’d get us to sit with my boss. Even though everyone knows how terrible he is. Somehow he kept his job and started doing better for like a week or two, then he storms off in the middle of the busiest shift. Some people.
