EA was the worst back when they were the only company doing the dodgy stuff, these days 9/10 AAA publishers pull dodgy crap 24/7 so EA isn't special anymore.
As much as it hurts to say, EA is doing alright these days. Battlefield 1 was awesome, Titanfall 2 was awesome, they’re not perfect and still have AAA issues but overall EA isn’t quite the slime bag they were
@FP Waiter, Honestly I was realy dissapointed by BF1. I don't know exactly why I don't like it but I think it might be a combination of the grenade spam and the fact that if someone shoots near you, your bullets don't go straight.
@FP Waiter, EA didn't even do any work on Titanfall 2, they were just the publisher. Respawn is the dev company, and they've done some wonderful things. Sucks that TTF2 didn't get a good start because of being slotted for release at the same time as Battlefield 1
@FP Waiter, True, but they're E3 press conference was shjt.
@Just Kraze, you are correct
@member berry, that and a bayonett charge is stupidly hard to stop. Shy of killing them it wont happen and if youre the sniper class youre probably not gonna kill them
@FP Waiter, uhhh, really?! What about Battlefront being half a game sold for the price of two games? How about Mass Effect Andromeda?
EA hasn't changed at all. Only your perceptions of it.
@AzureSkyKnight, And they did that cause they thought they appealed to different people.
@FP Waiter, yeah i despise EA, but I'll give them Titanfall 2. They invested in a good up and coming franchise
@I Are Lebo, well I fvcking loved mass effect Andromeda so they are doing something right
@nemestrinus , if you genuinely loved Andromeda, then I seriously doubt the value of your opinion.
Mass Effect Andromeda is a key example of half assed game development. The characters are all expressionless, emotionless robots with phoned in voice acting. The plot is melodramatic where it isn't dull. The animations are lazy where they aren't altogether absent. Planet scanning is the most tedious it's ever been in a Mass Effect game, and that's a pretty low bar.
Also, and this is most revealing, the company that developed Mass Effect Andromeda folded as a result of it's failure. So it's quite clear they did far more wrong than right.
Enjoying playing a game does not intrinsically make the game good. Especially if you have no proper understanding of what makes a good game in the first place. Or if you just have low standards.
Next you'll be telling us you loved Too Human, and that Ride to Hell: Retribution was the best game you ever played.
@I Are Lebo, well no I won't be telling you that because Superman for the Nintendo 64 and E.T. for the Atari were the best games ever
@nemestrinus , nice sargasm.
(Sarcasm induced orgasm)
@FP Waiter, they're lack of creativity in their sports games frustrates me
@I Are Lebo, welcome back :3 I haven't seen that name in so long.
@I Are Lebo, get buttraped enough and you just learn to like it I suppose
@Mhael, ....... I haven't gone anywhere. Maybe you've just been missing my posts?
@theshadosnipe, EA: we don't use lube and you know you love it.
@I Are Lebo, But.... I did like Too Human...
@JJD2016, they're - they are
Their - belonging to them.
Seriously, it's not hard.
@I Are Lebo, what's that things samurais do where they stab themselves when they dishonor their families
Assassins Creed 2 made cream my shorts for the first time. They could have ended it two more games. Instead, the dragged it out and decided to leech cash from their customers.
Ubisoft was good
@idubbbz, was but I can’t play anything on their servers anymore. It always kicks me out, it doesn’t matter what WiFi I’m using or what game it is.
Let's not forget that Ubisoft was part of South Park: Stick of Truth 😁
@The Tower Of Pimps, Exactly. EA was bad, but has gotten a lot better. Ubisoft, dammit, they're trying. But Activision has stayed consistently scummy and shjtty for as long as I can remember.
@Weird Porn Stash, Ubisoft has gotten better? So does that mean they stopped selling DLC for games that are still in early access Alpha stage? Ive seen them do this. Which means they really do hold stuff out of a game just to sell it as DLC. Alpha stage is still the development stage. Meaning they're actually making the game. Beta is when it's past development and just bug fixing. I've personally seen Ubisoft games on Steam that do this. Since seeing that. I don't by their titles anymore.
@Seohn, I may not buy many of their titles anymore, but I'll be damned if I miss an Assassin's Creed game.
Weird... they spelt Bethesda wrong..
Pay 20$ to find out more
Ubisoft has amazing development teams creating such original games like For Honor. But Ubisoft (the corporate producers) only care about money so they heavily restrict what the developers can do which result in a massively popular game like For Honor to lose 90% of its player base on steam in only a couple months.
Bum dum tss
